Yep. Bills have the edge at QB...but Chargers have a better D.

The Chargers are a good solid team and a strong contender for the #2 seed.

True and the chargers have also a edge in coaching over the Bills

This season seems to be opening up perfectly for Buffalo. Baltimore at KC Sunday one will be 1-3

Not everyone is cut out to be a leader. Some people are destined to be followers, and there is nothing wrong with that. You can be a follower and still be a hero. Patrick Queen might be one of those guys.

The chargers are the only threat for the bills for the first seed. The ravens need to win 3 more games that the Bills for the rest of the season and the chiefs have a tough division. The Bills have a very easy schedule with only 2-3 tough games left(Chiefs and Philly, and maybe Tampa Bay,all in Buffalo)

Bills schedule is pathetic this year. I see them losing 1 or 2 games all year unless they clinch and sit guys last couple weeks.

I am kind of in your camp on this line of thinking. A win is a win. However, it feels like we stumbled into both of our wins so far and I can't see us doing that against any team that is playing well. The Jets, Seahawks and Patriots. None of those are looking like contenders right now and we struggled against all of them. I don't feel that we 'won' any games, but rather that we just happened to win a coin flip and have the most points at the end. The Patriots game really felt this way. 5 turn overs vs 1 for the Patriots and they still had TOP at 33:20 to our 26:40 and we won by a single score. That does not feel like a win.

    No faith in coaching either.

We have one of the worst coaching staffs in the NFL and have for 10 years running. A few parts have changed, but results are the same, win against some teams actually worse than us, pull out a fluke win early, stink up the place in November and December.

Even 2-1, this feels like the year we finish with losing record. Rodgers arm talent is still there. The OC playcalling is putrid as is the OL. Not having a better #2 WR huts (on the GM/Rooney).

The Bengals and Browns, if some how Steelers win all four games, are the faint hope of a playoff wild-card. I actually see us losing a game to both and that would seal a losing record in 2025.

I think the Bills will cruise to the #1 seed barring injury thanks to that schedule. The Chargers don't have the best wideouts and lost their left tackle for the year. Herbert played out of his mind against Denver, but he is taking a healthy amount of hits (14 hits and was sacked 5 times). That isn't sustainable.

There is also the slight matter of Herbert choking badly in the post-season. You are what you are until proven otherwise. Josh Allen isn't the reason the Bills don't get past the Chiefs.

If you base it on Vegas season win totals then Niners have the easiest schedule. BUF and TB are also in the top 8 easiest. Browns schedule was rated one of the toughest but that was before Burrow went down. Steelers? Where they always are....middling....sigh.

Seems to me the Rats got a problem with their defense. Yeah, they played all playoff contenders so far, but they are not looking right to me. May also be an issue with pass blocking for them.

If the above is true and our defense can gel and get better each week, we may have a shot at the division.

As we and other teams are playing right now, we could beat the Browns x 2, Bengals x 2, Bears x 1, Dolphins x 1.....and we can always split games with the Ravens no matter how either team is playing on the season. That gives us a possible 9 and 8 record. The Vikings are the not sure team. They lost to the Bears in week 1 and then beat the Falcons handily and smashed the Bengals. The Packers, Colts, Chargers, Bills, Lions, and Ravens x 1 are all on track to notch their belts with a win over the Steelers.

We must improve the front 4 on both sides of the ball and fix that giant hole in the middle of the field that everyone passes into, get some starters back, and then start looking like a team when on the field. If we don't do this, our ceiling is 10/7, with 9/8 being more likely and a possibility of something as bad as 6/11 since we like to keep every game at a 1 score split.

Yep and I think some of us were not aware of just how much of an on-field coach James Farrior was.

I don't think it is as bad as it seems. 3 x passes, 1 x run. That run looked like a designed run which I am not a big fan of for Wilson. But on all 3 passes, he was less than a second from being sacked. 2 of them, he was under immediate pressure and nobody was open. The third he did have a bit longer but again, nobody was open and he was about to be sacked. So to me it looked like 3 dumps to avoid the sack after his oline failed him and the run hole was never really there as the oline did not open it up very well.

But I am with you that we made the right choice in not keeping RW on the team.

    Does this count for positivity?

Browns lost their starting OT Dawand Jones for the season in the game against GB.

Nope, everybody has criticized Wilson because you have to give your receivers a chance to make a play. I don't think I have ever seen a QB throw 3 consecutive passes out of the endzone in that situation.

I think the secondary problems will improve when we get Elliot back and the addition of Peppers. And Joey Porter Jr will allows us to be more creative and flexible, like Maybe freeing Ramsey to cover more of the center field like hybrid slot.

Offensive line has improved and is improving. A lot of guys graded out well on PFF, Seamalu, Frazier, and Broderick did NOT have a bad game.

Anyone see Aaron Rogers score on PFF? Haha, almost hitting the bottom line of the chart... why are are Roman Wilson and Skowronek ghosts out there?

I still think we have a chance, still finding team identity and improving (we have no choice)

"Seamalu, Frazier, and Broderick did NOT have a bad game"

0 sacks, only 4 qb hits on 26 drop backs. Pass blocking coming together, now need our run blocking to improve.
Herbert was sacked 5 times and hit 14. Denver had 7 sacks in their first two games, NE had 9.
