The ravens defense are a major concern even if they face 2 great offense against Detroit and Buffalo...Not the same defense since Mike McDonald leave to become head coach in Seattle

But it's all about those stats. I hope he keeps padding his stat line, and the Ravens keep losing.

LJ may be the best overall football player in the NFL right now. Maybe he is. If it doesn't translate to wins, if he can't lift his team over the jump in the big games, it doesn't matter. The Ravens could trade LJ and get multiple first round picks for years to come.

He doesn't have receivers. They got him receivers.
They don't have a strong enough run game. They got him Derek Henry.
They don't have a good defense. Go look at that defensive roster.

Sooner or later the team leader has to be the team leader. Like what we had with Ben. You think LJ is coming back in and leading a winning drive with a broken nose? I've seen no evidence to support that. I think he would go sit alone and pout about how it's unfair. Maybe I'm wrong and way off. I haven't seen LJ be that guy. Not yet.

which part? He may be the best football player in the NFL? He's not the leader Ben was? He has a very good team around him? What did I say that was wrong?

He jumped from 24TDs to 41TDs once they got Derek Henry. Coincidence?

He win the MVP in 2019 and 2023 without Henry too

Also, the Ravens have a horrible defense right now. They allowed 38 points yesterday, 41 in Buffalo, and the Ravens lost two games while scoring 40 and 30 points.Last year the Ravens pass defense was awful in the first 10 games but they were still 7-3...I don't care if they are good on paper if they are not good on the field....A offense can't control that!....It's not always the QB's fault...

The Ravens are going to be fine too. In the regular season at least, the Lions and Bills had the two best teams in their schedule in the first three games.

The other part, you were wrong, is when you said his play doesn't translate into wins... You couldn't be more wrong than that... 71-26 in his career. You probably would have traded Peyton Manning after 2004 or 2005 if you were the owner of the Colts.

For the toughness, very few were tougher than Roethlisberger was in his career....only McNair and Brett Favre have an argument vs Roethlisberger in the last 40 years.

Lamar is the last problem of the ravens...same for Josh Allen come playoffs time for the Bills

Their defense started off bad last year too then they brought in that consultant their defense got better, not sure if he's still with the team.

I think the Ravens will be fine for the regular season as well. Not the point I made. You cannot lose that game to the Bills when you have that lead they had. Not if you want to call yourself a contender. This keeps happening with the Ravens.

I didn't say anything about LJ's toughness. I said he's not the leader he needs to be. If things are going badly he sits by himself and pouts. How do you think that affects the others? Confidence? Fortitude? Maturity?

I'm not suggesting they trade LJ. I'm saying his value is at its peak. Taking a page from Jerry Jones, they could get a kings ransom in return. This is a true statement.

I haven't compared LJ to Allen. I think they are very similar as QBs. Both are legit dual threat. I feel like the Bills offense plays better with the game on the line because of Allen. I don't feel that with the Ravens. Of not a leadership thing, you tell me what it is.

Baltimore will always never cease to find new ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. It is now officially a skit for them at this point. Just replace the actors.

This, as is often the case, guarantees Pittsburgh either ties with Baltimore or sweeps them all together. Seems inevitable at this point.

    What a great game.

Still though, Ravens Lions Eagles are your 3 out of final 4.

I agree with this but you can't blame Lamar for this game....It was on defense and the fumble of Henry did not help...Last night they were outplayed
