I thought he would be more involved in the offense after having a good camp and preseason, I think he only has one catch so far. I know Arthur Smith loves his TEs, but they can't go the whole season just targeting two receivers.

    Agree in theory.

But the rub; until the OL is fixed (some year in the future) this offense will look poopy pretty much every week. They don't move guys, they block inconsistently, the schemes are watered down.

I posted before his debut game I'd put his over/under in catches at 2.5. I meant for the game, but it's looking like I should have said for the season. So far he's a complete waste of a draft pick.

Roman, Scotty, and Skowronek absent. Even Meuth not there. O line?

Have to get the full range of WRs involved and then we’ll see DK open up.

So painfully obvious one wonders about the coaching.

You don’t have to blitz Pitt, just keep it to 3 rushing at us, and put the rest in pass coverage with an emphasis on DK. The receivers are getting no separation and with an old QB that’s a solid game plan.

I believe a running game would help a whole bunch.
People thought our running game was bad last year, but I believe, and could be wrong that we are rushing 40 yards a game average less than last year. That isn't going to help the offense one bit.

For me it is Scotty Miller. He had a great camp and preseason, so I was expecting him to at least see some game time.

Last week against the Pats the offense only managed 139 yds passing; so I guess there is not much to spread around when you have so little to give out.

Well last year the OL gave us 2.22 yards before contact per rush. So far this year they've blocked 0.6 yards before contact per rush. I think that paints a pretty good picture as to why we are having rushing woes as an offense.

Point is defenses can do prevent and keep the WR covered. Of course they’ll rush from time to time but teams can afford to keep wr covered without having to take from the pass coverage and still have success rushing. If they dare to add more to the blitz at the risk of coverage a QB like ARod will make you pay even if he has to do it quickly.

Go back n watch the Seattle game slug.

Didn’t make anything up, it’s my opinion and that is still allowed, at least for now, in this country. But I’m not going to get into hissy fit fight that you and the usual subjects like to do on this board. Moving on…

Having an opinion and sharing that opinion is perfectly legal. However, you didn’t state an opinion. You made a statement that is factually incorrect. Now that’s allowed as well. However, so is someone making a rebuttal to your factually inaccurate statement.
