The vikings have a major coaching advantage on both side of the ball.I would be very surprise if the Vikings don't have 100 more yards that the steelers in this game. The key will be the turnovers,if this is even, the chances are slim

The offense is worse from game to game so far.And for the defense, this is likely to be better at some point and I would not be surprise if they are in the top 10 in PPG soon but the steelers have always some major problem on this side of the ball for years now and this is exposed every time against good offense and coached team despite different players....Hard to have confiance.

Yards are the most importants stats after points and turnovers....When the turnovers is at even or just 1,which happen often in this league, this is very hard to win in this league when you are outplayed by 120 yards...You need great field position or be very opportunistic to win when the yards are not close in your favor

What makes you think our coaches will have us ready? Have we looked particularly prepared for any of our games yet this season? The defense has been really bad and the offense has been hit or miss. We definitely need to perform better on both sides of the ball if we want to beat NFL caliber teams. The Vikes aren't the Ravens or the Bills, but we play both those teams this year and its looking like we have to put up some serious points if we want a competitive game against a good offense....

We've won games on turnover margin for a couple years now.

Its going to be tough for us to maintain a winning season when we're bottom 5 in yards allowed, bottom 5 in yards rushing allowed, and 7th worst in passing yards allowed. This team just gives up yards in bunches (and have done so against relatively poor offenses). If this doesn't drastically improve, it's going to be hard to see a level of consistency in this team that will allow us to beat even the bad teams week to week (not to mention teams like the Ravens, the Lions, or the Bills). The personnel is good enough to have a much better unit even if we are a touch banged up at the moment.

Well they couldn't run block and Rodgers was getting annihilated after the throw. Just a matter of time before he's out a few games or worse.

Isn’t that cute you made up something about yardage. Which surprises absolutely no one

Maybe Warren should average more than 3 YPC

Well he's right about the offense. We've gone from 271 yards to 267 yards to 203 yards... Worse each game. He was wildly wrong about being outplayed by 120 yards. We were outplayed by 166 yards yesterday. For the season we average 247 yards of offense and 386 yards given up on defense. We have gotten outplayed by an average of 139 yards a game. So he was definitely wrong. Just not in a good way.

We can continue to win games like this as long as we continue to cause turnovers at a league best clip. If we do that we will win lots of close games against bad/middling teams and lose badly to good teams. Kinda like we have the last few years. If we return to the mean in terms of turnovers, we're going to finally have a losing season. Our offense is bottom 3 in ypg and somehow 12th in PPG. Our defense is bottom 5 in ypg allowed and only 22nd in PPG allowed. We can't continue to be bottom 5 both offensively and defensively if we want to continue to win games.... simple as that. We are statistically one of the worst teams in the league and were sitting at 2-1. We gotta change that fast.

If they can pressure Wentz like this, I like the Steelers chances.

Again. Yardage doesn’t mean damn thing. You can march up and down the field all you want the only thing that matters is points.

Agree, This is the Rooney's just being cheap and setting their team up to fail, so they can save a little money by sending the team over late.

Vikings going over on Wednesday, and the Steelers are going over on Friday. Just like in 2013 where everyone, Coaches and Players, admitted what a huge mistake it was to go over late for the game.

Just like in 2013, this will result in a Loss, because the Rooney's don't want to pay for the team to go over a few days early to get used to the time change and get rid of the Jet Lag.

True.... However, yardage will almost always equate to points in a large enough sample size. We might be 12th in points scored and 29th in yards gained for the first 3 games... but over a 17 game season that is going to regress to the mean. We will either start gaining more yards because our offense is good at scoring points, or we will score less points because our offense is bad at gaining yards. Defensively we might be 22nd in points allowed (slightly skewed due to a ST TD, probably closer to middle of the pack) and 27th in yards allowed... but we will either start giving up less yards because we are good at stopping the other team from scoring, or we will start giving up more points because we are bad at stopping the other team from gaining yards. Being on a negative inverse of both of these stats doesn't bode well for us moving forward. It would be a MASSIVE anomaly to end the season with big inverse relationships on both sides of the ball. Something has to give eventually. I just hope that our offense starts gaining more yards and the defense stops giving up so many yards. The alternative would be very bad for the outcome of our season.

So far, Steelers have won both road games and lost miserably at home. Even though this is a travel game (and the longest they've ever played in), they are both the Home Team and should have a predominant Steeler crowd in the stands. Obviously need to change this early trend. Might as well not even go to bed Saturday night since this begins at 6:30 am on the left coast.
