Games are decided by execution, which includes mistakes. The Steelers made fewer mistakes yesterday. It is similar to how the Patriots often beat the Steelers when Brady and Belichick were there.

The Steelers also had a hand in those mistakes, pun intended. Most of the fumbles came when a Steeler either knocked it loose with his hand. Peppers forced one by getting a good hit with his shoulder right on the football. The interception in the end zone was tipped by Heyward at the line. Those aren't flukes. The Steelers made plays and the Patriots made mistakes. Those count.

The Steelers made mistakes, too, that allowed the Patriots to get back in the game. They had an opportunity to take full command of the game in the second quarter when the Patriots went for it on fourth-and-one. Cole Holcomb had a great opportunity to blow up the running back for a loss and he missed the tackle. That cost the Steelers at least three points, maybe seven.

True, but it's very rare to see a team lose four fumbles in a game.

Congratulations on the defensive turnovers, but the good teams we'll face starting in Week 8 and after that protect the ball much better, so if the Steelers aren't better on both sides of the ball, they're in trouble big time. Since yesterday, the Steelers wouldn't win this game if the Pats had two turnovers instead of five.

The opponents have 417 more yards than the Steelers after three games, which doesn't look good in the long run.And we've seen this movie so many times in the last five years, it's hard to believe it's going to be much better.

Yesterday, neither team deserved to win.

I have never seen more people complain about winning? Nobody is perfect. This team is not the 1970s Steelers or the 1960s Packers. Get over it. I would rather win ugly than lose pretty.

AFC title game with Ryan Tannehill by beating the Pats in their house and the mighty 14-2 ravens in 2019 and gave a good fight against the Chiefs in the AFC title game.

And Arthur Smith was a much better OC when he had Vrabel as head coach, so much so that Smith was a head coach after two years as OC under Vrabel.

For the 4-0 record of Tomlin vs Vrabel...Jake Plummer was 3-0 against Brady,it don't make him better that Brady

This is not a game to be stroking yourself after dude.

The Pats threw themselves off a bridge, smashing into the cliff face on the way down, and then fell into a river with a concrete overcoat on, after taking a suicide capsule, all this while handcuffed and heavily sedated.

Vrabel got fired by the Titans for sucking for like 3-4 years, Arthur Smith had Derrick Henry he will make any OC look good.

Only 2 years and the titans were 3-14 last season in the first year without Vrabel,0-3 this year...The titans were awful on paper in the last few years.

For Henry, every team need super star player but the titans still finish in the first seed in 2021 even if Henry was out for the second half of the season

Vrabel’s dad was my high school gym teacher. I saw him running around as a little kid. Lol. Leave his butt in New England.

Coach in with 21st century mindset on both sides of the ball. Steelers continue to run a 90's-style offense and 00's-style defense... both are outdated. Time to move on. Patriots will eventually be a good team again. Patriots will start winning the AFC East again when Allen goes into decline like all QBs do.

The Patriots wouldn't have been in such a good position to win if Holcomb had made that tackle. They wouldn't have been in that position if Rodgers and Freiermuth could get on the same page. They wouldn't have been in as good a position if the Steelers' defense didn't keep blowing coverage assignments. Both of their touchdowns came on blown coverages.

I get your point about neither team deserving to win, but turnovers are just a type of mistake. Just as opponents can eliminate turnovers, hopefully the Steelers can eliminate or reduce the errors they are making so far this season.

I much rather listen to them than the guys who's whole understanding of football, or discussions of football are.......The Qb sucks, the OL sucks, the coaches suck, and yet can't tell a screen from a dump off, or a two high from a one high.

Totally agree, but the key word is.....it wasn't the Belichick led Patriots. Even without Brady , Belichick still beat us, but not Vrabel.

This from the guy who said we were fools to let Justin Fields go. Does it make You upset that You pick against the Steelers, and they win??? What kinda fan does that make you. Are you sure you wouldn't be more happy on the Ravens board, where no matter how good they are during the regular season, they lose in the playoffs......wait .....wait .....We seen that movie before. LoL
