Bad football everywhere. No teams are tackling well. Too many penalties. Lazy fundamentals. The entire league is getting worse.

 

Don’t worry, they’ll turn the offense back to full throttle after it’s tied.

 

Why to always waiting that the back are against the wall to have some good play calling?

 

We've had Fitchner, Canada and Smith, and all three have had a similarly small and uninspiring playbook. Tomlin is the common denominator, of course, which makes me wonder sometimes just how much he meddles with the play calling.

The offense has always been very conservative under Tomlin when the Steelers have the lead, even in the Bruce Arians or Todd Haley era....Of course, there are exceptions, but the norm for them is to be very conservative

 

True and there is more parity now. Even elite teams seem to struggle but I guess that makes for more entertaining ball games.

 

Smith is only mildy better than Canada.

 

A bad offensive line makes any coordinator look bad. I'm tired of watching our RB's have to break tackles behind the LOS

Offense has been bad under Tomlin since Ben started to decline after 2018. Doesn't matter who the QB is....Trubisky, Rudolph, Pickett, Fields, Wilson, Rodgers. Doesn't matter who the OC is...Finctner, Canada, Smith. Popcorn is the common denominator.

 

The O line is causing Arthur Smith to suck. I don't think Walsh in his prime could do much with an O line as inconsistent as Steelers.

 

It's called keeping your 41 yr old QB standing, behind a leaky, weak OL.
