Oh hey, trust me…they chose poorly by giving him that contract, for more reasons than one.

I’m saying they want glorified safties at ilb now, they aren’t built to stop the run, nor are they put into great positions to do so.

I wish I had the all 22 because it did look as if the Seahawks did some good tendency studies and exposed the mismatches on the first drive. Have to tip your hat sometimes to the other coaches on the effective schema and execution.

Let’s not excuse CAIII and his boneheaded route running that resulted in the endzone INT. That pass was Muth’s. CAIII had no reason to be there. The game turned right there

    UNACCEPTABLE:

    Smith Njigba: 8 for 103
    Cooper Kupp: 7 for 90

    Calvin Austin 1 for 22
    DK Metcalf 3 for 20
    Roman Wilson 1 for 7

They haven't used him. I'm not even sure he got a single snap on offense today.

That is not correct. He had one carry for one yard. Was that on the last drive?

That’s the way it was in years prior now we just give up big chunk plays.

All, he got a yard on that play? Ok, That makes him minus two in 2 games thus far. :applaud:

Two games in a row we allowed 30+ points. On the other hand, the Seahawks did not. It can be done.

I was saying this from the beginning.

Queen was in a make or break year with the Ravens, he finally had a good year and the Ravens STILL let him walk…

that tells you all you need to know.

With better prep, Johnsons miscue and Austin’s route, we might’ve squeaked out another win.

But the run defense, pass defense somewhat, and the struggling o line are the elephants in the room. Where not going anywhere if those dont improve

I’ve been enjoying the new podcast from Heyward this year…

    It’s called: Cam is Cooked.

    ———

So… there was all this talk of the best TE room in the NFL…why aren’t they the focus? Look at what NE did with Gronk and Hernandez… there isn’t anything we can recreate there?

Why not do something crazy and put all three of them on the field at once?

Week 2 and Mason Rudolph has already been asked to finish out a game because Rodgers was destroyed today behind a bad offensive line.

Who had Week 2 in the pool for how long Rodgers could play behind this offensive line???

Teams continue to run wide left on this defense. With Highsmith out it's going to get a lot uglier I am afraid.

    1. offensive line players are not that good.
    2. we have chase LB'ers that if run at can't fight off the onslaught.
    3. not enough bigun's holding the line in MT's defense. the 2 down lineman defense can't handle the run straight at them. (scheme)
    4. they have a lot of vets and star players on defense and from time to time we see star vet defense played, BUT it isn't on a consistent basis play after play. this hurts them overall.
    5. there is no pursuit to the ball. i see good defenses gang tackling. we don't. one guy will hit and maybe miss and then the next will get there and do the same and so on right down the field. again back to star vets waiting for other star vets to make the play.
    6. injuries. roster. who they promote for the week from the PS doesn't always match what is needed as depth. ( when you are already low on backup interior defensive linemen, you bring up extra and actually make them part of the rotation) .
    7. we can't continue to use TE's as WR's.
    8. why is gainwell on the team? he sure doesn't gainwell. ( time to give lew nichols and sermon a shot as backups)
    9. warren is a stud RB. johnson seems like a dud RB.
    10. offensive line players are not that good. oh did i mention that?

Caleb needs to go down to practice squad and move Sermon up to 53 man roster.
He is not ready for prime time. I mean, you learn in peewees that if you touch the ball infield of play you better go get it move him today to practice squad until he puts his brain on.
