A Big Change in the Offense

    Check out the early down passing between this season and last several years. Compare post-Roethlisberger with Wk1.

    What is most interesting is the frequency of passes immediately after gaining a first down. Pre-Rodgers it was usually a run. Not true so far this year.

    It's only 1 game, and it was a shootout, so that's going to affect the numbers. But yeah, it looked like a very different offense than what we're used to. And that's not a complaint.

    Agree. Can't say it's a trend yet but it is a good start.

    And the steelers running game were very poor

    Still have to somehow get the O-line better. Rodgers can only do so much if we don't have a running game.

    I can remember screaming for defenders to F Rodgers up over the years. Now I get nervous when it looks like he'll get sacked.
