Seems like everyone should know the game well enough to understand it's about players and execution. The coaches can draw up the perfect plan but if it doesn't get executed well, it won't matter. Sometimes the plan is flawed. When that happens the coaches adjust the plan, but it's still up to the players to execute the plays.
Coaches are not blameless. Sometimes we call a bad game. That happens also.

I don't care about what happened last season or any previous season. It has no bearing on this season. None. Other than injuries, there's not much that means a lot from one week to the next.

People don't like when things don't go their way and they have to point the finger of blame. It's a group effort guys. When we win we win as a team. Same when we lose.

Obviously the Patriots knew what plays we were calling. They were listening in on the calls, stealing signals, turning off opponents communications, cheating. Or did everyone forget that already? They did it to every team.

we have a good chance this year to win it all.Lets not waste a talent like Rodgers..He is a Hall of famer--He wants to win..Seems he wants to more than Wilson did.We have so many issues --But QB seems good so far.DEF. has to step it up..o-line needs to perform better--RUN game :sword:where is the run game.Oh I forgot special teams not so Special<exception --THE:wizard:of Boz...>Maybe just maybe the :steelflag:--DEF. will destroy Seattle.

Have you ever watched one of those YouTube videos where say…a father and son are watching a game together. If their team is losing they will say just about everything you mentioned in this post. Oftentimes, it doesn’t even matter how good (or bad) their team is, they’ll just bit*h and bit*h.

Better yet, check out the ravens message forum after their calamitous loss @ the Bills. Fire Hardbaugh, we can’t draft, we can’t develop, our defense is too predictable and soft.

My friend is an avid Chiefs fan, a well rounded team year after year (for the most part anyway) … and yet, he’ll continuously spout all of your post aforementioned complaints year after year. I’m always telling him “you got Mahomes for ***** sake !!!!”

In conclusion, I think it’s harkens back to what’s really in a hardcore fans DNA. We just can’t help ourselves but to complain.

During the last decade, we had one of the top franchise QB, top receiver, one of the top running backs. Also the home games were at Pittsburgh, one of the traditionally difficult place to play. We also had 2 guaranteed wins as Cleveland was never competitive, yet we couldn't do much. NFL is about having a Franchise QB, and I think we left 1 or 2 SB appearances on the table. Also when we lost in playoffs, we seemed totally unprepared. Against Belichick, there was no hope of even being competitive. It was like Division 2 playing a Division 1 college team. When Rothlisbereger retired, Watts started dominating in a beast mode breaking sack records. Let's face it that Tomlin has been very fortunate to not have a losing season. Tomlin doesnt have a coaching tree which shows how others really think of his leadership style. If Tomlin coached at lets say Carolina or Tennessee , a city with tepid fan support and a lack of a good franchise QB, he wouldn't have had a single season of over 500. Tomlin is not a bad coach. He is just very very mediocre. Just my opinion.

I will give you real answers when you tell me how struggling to develop a run game for what is it five plus years now doesn’t get resolved yet we keep the same coaches. I will tell you how we win 10.5 games a year when you tell me how we can’t develop an offensive line for again five years after throwing countless draft picks and free agents at the issue. Can you also explain why we fail to develop inside linebackers under Austin’s defense and we can’t stop the run or the pass consistently for the better part of Austin’s tenure here yet him and the oline coach are still employed by us.

We have 3 playoff wins between 2011 and 2018: Bens best years with a stacked offense and a top ten defense. Just so little to show for it except “non losing seasons”. I guess that works for the Tomlin apologists.

Noll got 2 playoff wins in the 80’s with far far less talent

So what does that make the Ravens, and the Bills with no SB appearance, let alone a SB , and yet they have MVP Qb, one has a multiple MVP Qb. Yet people like You keep saying how awesome they are.
Remind me when was the last time the Steelers had a MVP Qb, and didn't go to the SB.

Dang we got two more SB rings then I seem to remember with those two playoff wins. I don't remember seeing those.
I forgot what year did they start giving those away for a playoff win???
I always thought you had to at least make the SB 1st. Silly me.
So if we just win a playoff game we are golden then?? LoL.
    Sounds goofy doesn't it.
Hey guess what the Browns have a playoff win since us.....too bad they are 29- 40 since that time, but hey , they got that playoff win.

I'm calling it now unless Allen or Jackson get injured then one of those 2 teams are going to the Superbowl this year. Probably the Bills, they are the only team in the league to be favored to win all of their games. That doesn't mean they will but they will be at worse 14-3.

Am I lying, or is this not the exact same thing you said last year, and maybe even the year before??
    LoL
If I say from now till it happens that the Steelers will make the SB, eventually odds say I will be correct. LoL

How is a question a argument?? Now you sound like my ex wife. LoL
