    1. We can't coach
    2. We can't develop talent
    3. We can't make game time adjustments
    4. The whole NFL knows our Defense
    5. Our Defense has never changed
    6. The whole NFL knows what we are running on offense.
    7. We don't use our players correctly.
    8. 8-8 is the Standard.

Yet we win 10.5 games average a season. Many times with Old Ben, Old Wilson, Mason, Trubisky, and Fields.
So are the other teams just letting us win? Are they just being nice to us?
Are the Steelers doing it by magic??
I mean really, add all that together, and make that all make some type of sense.
If people just used a bit of common sense they would know all that can't be true, or we would suck, year after year after year.

    9. We have won 3 playoff games in 14 years.

    Forgotten 1 will love that.

I do think that we have some coaching issues. Definitely not in every position, but we have historically had some areas where we consistently underperform and don't seem to be able to develop people. Quarterback would be one of these spots.

I've always thought that the Steelers have made some good adjustments at halftime. Many times we've gone to halftime with our nuts on the anvil, we come back from halftime and everything suddenly starts going our way.

I do think a lot of the teams have been able to read our offense and defense pretty well. I don't think that's any secret. I think that this year that's changing. Seems like a lot of people are pretty down on Arthur Smith, but I see a lot more misdirection and chaos in a good way from our offense. I am not seeing big differences on the defense schemes yet. But trickery is a little different between offense and defense.

The answer is Tomlin does a good job of getting a good enough record every year to sneak into the playoffs. Then as the #6 or #7 seed they are playing a powerhouse team that they just can't compete with.

Maybe because their opponent has MVP type of franchise QBs and are playing at home, we had a washed Ben, Mason, Trubisky Pickett .

So no real answers of how we miraculously win 10.5 games a year average with no coaching, and everyone, knows our plays on offense, and Defense.
    Freaking magic.
Tomlin should bottle that magic, and sell it.
I knew there wouldn't be many real answers, because you can't answer a question that goes against what you blindly think, even when it makes no sense.

So your answer is the other teams allow us to win until we make the playoffs. That's mighty nice of them. Glad I bet the over on wins since the whole NFL is so nice to us.

    And this is uncommon when???
When is it uncommon that a team uses the same play more than once in a game.
Do you know how many times the Jets ran the same run play on us Sunday??

So as I thought, no answer. You are like those people that protest at a rally, and don't even know why, they just do it to protest. LoL
    Can you say bahahahaha

Some people will take any opportunity to *****. Running the exact same play is exactly why the defender was flat footed and our receiver WIDE OPEN.

C'mon. You know the answer! Tomlin sucks and always has. He has no coaching tree. Rooney is a cheap bastard and has no football IQ but, apparently has stock in duct tape manufacturers...........wait! What was the question again?

I figured you'd hear a lot on this topic.
There are some issues, but every team has issues. Some, more than others.
I sort of gave up on it but no losing record is no easy feat and we haven't had one in nearly 20 years. That's crazy.
Not many fans of teams have not sat in the seats for that long without suffering some really bad seasons. I hate it when your season is over by week 4, (abandon all hope.)
But there is the problem of not elevating to the next level.
2nd place is just a name for 1st loser.

I totally agree we need to break through, but to act like we average 10.5 wins a year , apparently because the other teams let us is infreaksane .

All the players love MT so much they want to make sure the streak never ends! Both our guys and the opponents. I figured everyone already knew this.

Seemed like every Jets run was the same play; maybe we finally adjusted in the 2nd half?

I thought it was interesting we ran the same play and the QB adjusted to throw to the right (open) receiver. I like the concept - you can see the LB and safeties creeping up to stop the run

I remember complaining about losing seeding in the playoffs to the Patriots by losing to inferior opponents. Steelers couldn't get a playoff bye because they would sh!t the bed and underachieve against crappy teams while having a HOF QB, All Pro RB, All Pro WR and Pro Bowl OL during the last Super Bowl window. Now I'm complaining about 10 win seasons and quick exit out of the playoffs as #6-7 seed. Plus... no playoff wins in 8 years. Current Steelers are pretty much on par with Steelers of the 1960's and before. Mediocre team with no chance in hell of competing with the elite teams in the NFL.
