Fields is still Fields… one game is nothing.
Still no touch, should’ve ran for first down on their last possession. Would’ve got it easy, still unsure of what to do.
    Slow the flow my man.
Blaming Chicago, blaming the Steelers, maybe just maybe some of the blame should go to Fields?

Stop with the LSU overrated qb talk
Also, I am a big Gamecock fan, Sellers at this point is no where near ready to be a NFL QB
Allar got the size, that’s all.
We would be better off seeing what Will Howard offers

    Lol
If he ran on their final play, easy first down. Takes way more than athletic ability to be a NFL qb.

    Half goes to Fields
Half goes to our swiss cheese defense
Ravens will be licking their chops knowing we haven’t improved our run defense
Henry might cramp up by halftime running so much

Right this very minute, I totally agree, but we will have to see how things play out for us, and the rest of college football.

    WK1:

Justin Fields - avg time to throw = 3.53 sec (#1 longest in the league), could have sat back there enjoying a cup of coffee

    Rodgers = 2.43 secs (#3 fastest, Mahomes #1 2.38 sec)

Fields face some very good defense like the chargers and Broncos...The numbers would been much better vs Denver if the steelers offense were not a penalties machine in the first half. Some of the best game by Wilson was against weak defense too

Fans keep saying Fields should've started the whole season forget he got injured and missed like 3 games, Wilson was going to have to play last season anyway.

First of all the Steelers didn't let Fields go he was a free agent, like he was supposed to turn down $10 million more in guaranteed money.

I don't think the Steelers would have let Fields go if he had had a great year last season (and if the Steelers had used Fields as a dual-threat quarterback and built their offense around his strengths).

Khan would have offered him more money or placed him under a franchise tag, similar to the one the Ravens used on Lamar Jackson a few years ago.

Once again they likely didn't turn Fields loose early in the season because Wilson was already injured.

    This is a dumb reason

The Ravens never had any concerns about that with Lamar, even when their backup quarterback was poor; the same is true for the Bills with Allen. It's never good to be too afraid.

All they had was that scrub Kyle Allen behind Fields you don't run Fields 10 times or more a game in those circumstances.

I'm of the opinion they (Steelers) were trying to teach Fields how to play QB, i.e. stand in the pocket, read a defense, make an accurate pass to the open man. Running is nice but he needed to learn to play QB, otherwise he's the Bears QB all over again.
