Not only a guy that will make big plays but a guy that will get under other teams skin and make them loose their cool.

It is scheme. Only in the last 7 minutes of the 4Q did we really start exotic blitzing and it worked on the both pass and run. Is it just me or do I remember LeBeau where we would run blitz on 1st down twist LBs right up the middle, it seems like we are not aggressive any more and are in a base defense and hoping for men to win one on one match ups. I would rather blitz our backers and try and cause havoc rather then them drop 5-10 yards and not cover ANYONE! How many times did our LBs tip or knock down a ball, not once! Our interior line was 100% a$$ yesterday they s^%ked got owned by the Jets, what do you think the Ravens line and Derrick Henry will do to us, OMG! We have a better Offense now the Defense has to make major strides. I was not impressed by Slay, Queen, Wilson or any down lineman. Ramsey was our best defender but he is a head case and just waiting for him to get a stupid penalty and cost us a game. Tomlin needs to take over the defense and light a fire or we will be 5-12.

It was like there were two different defenses on the field yesterday. Q1-Q3 was garbage. Q4 they were lighting people up.

Those adjustments that people like to say we don't make.

The game changed because Jaylen Ramsey wasn’t taking crap from anyone. The ST fumble recovery was the play of the game but #5 was taking that game over all by himself.

Yeah, laying some wood has been mising a for a few years now, it's hard to be downright nasty, because they want a game for pussies, but if you're smart you can still hit hard and be intimidating.

It shouldn't take 3 quarters to change **** up though.

If we play like that aginst the Rats it's 28 points before HT.

That penalty on Ramsey going at the knees of a player was BS, he was trying to make a tackle.

    Well...

Considering he was a unanimous Top 5 Pick coming out in 2016... a little hard to nab someone like him. Now that said, could the Steelers have traded for him in 2019?! Maybe but I don't think Pittsburgh was going to shell out two first round picks for Jalen.

Jalen Ramsey is the exact alpha that this team needs. The general perception is that the Offense lacks a true leader. Who's is to say that on Defense that there is one as well?!

As I see it, Jalen is the first true leader this defense has had since James Harrison with his first stint.

The Steelers are capable of making adjustments, but too often they wait until they have the back against the wall before doing so.

The coaching staff's weakness is their inability to have a solid gameplan at the start of game; they lack urgency. Too often, the Steelers have been among the worst teams in the league in points per game in the first quarter both offensively and defensively under Tomlin. They had zero TD on the first drive of the game last year, only 10 in 100 games since 2019,worst in the league...Maybe it will change this year with Rodgers

When was the last time they had a 10-0 lead or something like that in the first quarter?

Adjustments, man. There are so many new parts on defense... it was likely always going to take some time.

I Like Jalen, he is That Dude!! So is Watt!! So was and hopefully is Cam!! We’ve needed That Dude in the secondary for a while, and now that we have him our below avg DC is going to miss use him.

Jalen played every backfield position vs the Jets, Watt was moved around constantly and we made Field look like Jalen Hurts.

Put Jalen on Teams best WR and let them battle!!! Leave Watt and let him battle!!! Put Black on the nose and keep him there!!

sorry!!! Didnt mean to rant a bit off topic!! All the dudes we have on “D” and we made Justin and the Jets look like a Playoff team!!
