    As do I.

For that matter, I expect him to be apart of the rebuild as far as Draft Capital goes.

Winning cures a lot of attitude issues. Though the contract is a bit of an issue. We'd almost have to extend him if we traded for him and I am not sure that an extension at his age is what we want to be doing. A trade (or maybe the Dolphins just cut him at the end of the season and go for a comp pick) seems somewhat likely, it just depends on the cost. The FA WR market next year is pretty poor IMO and I'd prefer to not be a DK injury away from what we're looking at now.... Idk what the answer is, but maybe this is an option.

    Their relationship isn't good?!

The relationship between Mike McDaniel and the entire team is far worse. It isn't that big of a prediction to say that Mike McDaniel won't last the season. For me personally, I don't expect him to last by week 10. Week 9 they play Baltimore.

Baltimore already cooked Miami in their last matchup. $10 says that said game shall be the curtain call for Mike.

Looking at their current schedule, Miami might be staring at 0-9 at this point. Patriots, Bills and Jets are up next. Panthers, Chargers, Browns and Falcons soon thereafter. Panthers should be easy but Ickey Ekwonu will likely be back in the lineup by then.

Week 9 is Baltimore. Last time they faced the Ravens?!... yikes. $10 says that will do it for Mike McD.

If 0-9 is a possibility, then Mike McD will be gone well before then.

McDaniel is an OC... he's not HC material.

Funny, I can find many post stating that we needed a offensive genius like Mike McDaniels a few years ago, so we could be a real team in this day , and age. LoL

McDaniels would be a good OC for Steelers if Smith doesn't last or moves on to another HC job. McDaniels as HC? Hell no.

Mike McDaniels as an OC for Pittsburgh would unlock the likes of Roman Wilson and DK Metcalf in ways I don't think others believe. That said, this is all under the assumption that Arthur Smith gets another Head Coaching gig or if he wants out of Pittsburgh all together. How much of Pittsburghs other Offensive Personnel that would need changed would be a question mark for sure but McDaniels does have the weapons at present to make this Offense work.

That said and, again, this is all under the assumption that Arthur Smith wants to leave.

What I don't like about the McDaniels offense is this is too much a finesse offense, and that approach doesn't work against top-tier defenses.

Maybe Tua is the problem, but even in 2023, when the Dolphins had a high scoring offense, they struggled big time against really good defenses.

Dolphins are god awful. I'd put McDaniel on the top of the first to be fired leader board.

Oh, for sure. Not expecting that every week or anything. Escaping NY was certainly good for Rodgers and Jones though.

Actually a puppet OC because everyone knows Shanahan ran that offense.

I’m pretty Miami has one play and its the deep inside seam route. If that isn’t clicking they stink.

They should have parted ways with Mcdaniel, when the rumour everywhere is that your team is soft, and they played like it all season, then you have to part ways with the HC. It doesn't matter where the blame lies, you can't replace a 50 players who havew quit.

Russell Wilson looks like they're just clinging onto him until WK5, when the schedule looks better for Dart, then again, Wilson is so washed by now - how can you wait? Their season will be over @ 0-4.

    But there is the rub.
If You start Dart , and he ends up being terrible, many fans, and people will say he was started too early, and it's the HC/GM/Owners fault for ruining him, but if they don't start him, and they are sucking , everyone will be complaining why don't they start him.
Example: Some people believe that Kenny Pickett should have sat the bench , and learned, yet those same people who say this are the same people who b!+ched, and complained when others suggested for the Steelers to start Mason over him. Some like to have it both ways, but you can't.

McDaniels if overrated. Everyone crowned him because of a 70 point game and high scores against bad teams. That offense is a joke against good defenses.

and Tua is a big party of the problem. He is a one read QB.

What was Kenny going to learn from Mitch Trubisky?

We should’ve let Mason get a shot and never brought that bum in.

How on the hell does a QB with zero starts the previous year go to a new team and win the starting gig?

I'd prefer to wait until WK5, but how long can you pass off RW as legit starter if he carries on looking this bad?

But you know what the problem really is?

Don't add a totally washed vet starter based on name recognition, he's 36 and got blown out by two teams in no time, one team paid him $50M to disapear.

A team can't worry about fan reaction, if they do then who is running the team?

I totally agree, but that's how HCs get fired year after year after year. They have mister eat Ws... J Winston on the team don't they. Maybe they can go back, and forth with them. LoL

That's what I'm thinking. It's too early for Dart but they do have Winston on the team. Give him 3 or 4 starts until after the bye and then bring in Dart.

I thought the ideal sitation for them WAS Jamies Winston to Dart, not seeing where RW fitted into this at all, they didn't need him, he's just muddied the water. And on top of all that, Winston is flat out a better QB than RW is now, of course he'll still throw picks in bunches, but he can get on an insane roll and win a few games for you as well. RW can't do anything.
