Flacco wouldn’t be in the NFL this long if that were to be the case.

He was horrible today and has now lost 7 straight NFL starts. The Giants will go with Dart next week.

Meanwhile, Daniel Jones had a really nice game in a blowout win for the Colts:

    C/ATT YDS AVG TD/INT
    22/29 272 9.4 1/0

    QBR 88
    RTG 116

    Run YDS TD
    7 26 2

If there is anyone living off.their past it is Wilson. He’s not getting opportunities off his current body of work thats for sure.

    Wilson in the pole position:

Russell Wilson completed 17-of-37 passes (45.9 percent) for 169 yards in the New York Giants' 21-6 loss to the Washington Commanders. He added 43 yards on eight runs, but it was nowhere close to enough. This was probably the single worst QB performance of the afternoon slate and it sent Giants fans into an immediate spiral.

I was really hoping he would ball out a bit. Correct me if I'm wrong, but our comp pick for him will be worse with him playing like a$$ won't it?

I was shocked that Indy destroyed Miami yesterday, I am still not confident that Daniel Jones
can be competent starter for the whole season. But in Indy's case there is nothing better on their roster.

Jones played well and is the first QB to score on every possession since 1990.

I’m shocked because I think Jones is a bust but maybe its the Giants that are the problem.

I would imagine Brian Dabol might be the first coach fired this season.
But Wilson was terrible, just terrible.
Equally terrible is Rattler. I don't know why they keep giving him shots? He's stunk every time I see him.

I don't know about the rest on that list.

I believe the Titans played Denver pretty tough yesterday, Rookie QB also. No excuses for Miami or NYG. Though Commanders are a top team in NFC.

Yeah, kind of forgot about Miami, the same way they forgot to show up for the game.
Mike McDaniel is only 28-26.... not good.
Daboll is 19-34-1, really not good.
    Both started in 2022.

Should moved Hill in the offseason. Powder keg.

You hearing anything about him? Wonder if KC makes an attempt to get him back.

They should have in retrospect moved him.
They didn't even name him as a captain.

Someone said Miami was looking for 2nd round pick at a minimum... I heard it was a trade offer, like the 49ers were inquiring. Unconfirmed, so rumor.
He had 4-40 off 6 targets, but Miami was just terrible. Tua was worse than I imagined.
It might be a good thing to cut the cancer out before the trade deadline?

Might be a good idea, this is just game 1 of the season :lolol:

Him and Tua are saying the right things but I dont think their relationship is good at all.

When a QB gets sent off for poor performance, we shouldn't be expecting a high comp pick. I was honestly surprised he had starting job interest. A place like NYG made a lot of sense though. Get as many games as you can out of him before having to turn it over to the rook. As many as he can just turns out to be potentially one lol

Miami's whole situation is in trouble. Tua has been bad recently, their team is in a bit of a tailspin, and they might be on the verge of a coaching change. Could be in full rebuild mode soon. It would make a lot of sense for them to trade off aging pieces that still have value like Hill. I wouldn't hate making a run at him if we feel like we could use him. Austin had a nice game and is turning into quite a nice little #2 WR, but its hard to have a ton of faith in the group if we sustain an injury. Hill would step in and be an asset in the short term for sure

    I wasn't.

Miami has been a ticking time bomb since 2021. The proverbial dam is going to burst. Just a matter of time.

    I worry about cancers.
Hill is most definitely an upgrade but he is only good when he is winning.
    You're right about depth.

The Dolphins have regressed significantly since their 70-point game against Denver in 2023.

And Denver has gotten better and better since then too
