I live next to a farm that grows among other things 40 acres of fantastic sweet corn

They consider corn 2 hours after picking as “old”

My wife and I eat a lot during the 9 or so week season although this was a bad year with drought

    She eats it plain

I eat it with butter salt pepper and more butter

    Wife complains

I consider it a utensil for eating butter salt pepper and butter

I don’t go to New York often but I still eat other things

Maybe you should expand your horizons

Depends on the bottle. Mostly neat for me. I might use a big cube or a few drops of water for some high proof hazmat stuff.

I used to always finish my ex wife's chicken wings. She'd leave half on it. I eat it till it looks polished.

In my time, I've eaten most everything that needed to be eaten and now that I think about, some things that one shouldn't eat.
A Hoagie from New York is probably one of the worst things I've eaten.
A Hoagie from Pittsburgh is the next best thing to heaven.
I'd probably walk a mile across lava topped with broken glass with lava gators that spit fire out out of their mouths to get a Hoagie from the Pittsburgh Grill.
'round here, we take our Hoagies serious.

that is what my son is for nowdays. he grows the stuff. we also found a farmer that is off the beaten path that has a little stand that is an honor system stand. we also order tomatoes from him by the bushel. very good tomatoes and several types for what she is canning at the time. my wife does the canning still. she cans whole tomatoes, she makes her mothers recipe tomato soup and she makes her mothers recipe Spaghetti sauce. she does put some carrot in it. adds some sweetness. she also did dill pickles this year and salsa and ketchup and pickled pepper rings. not fun when it runs out and we have to use store bought at some point in the year.

Lava gators are serious businesses, especially the fire breathing ones. Hard to get them in the boat safely.

I've had everything you talked about homemade except the ketchup. I've never ever even thought about doing it. Does it taste better???
