I agree 100%… but Gabe Davis can’t pass a physical.
    Wouldn’t help us at all.
Is San Diego your baseball team?

I'm sure Davis had to pass a physical to get signed to the Bills practice squad.

Ugh, now this future interview will never happen.

Post-Super Bowl LVIX On-Field Interview | CBS Sports]

Reporter: Gabe, three touchdowns, Super Bowl MVP, and you just helped deliver the Pittsburgh Steelers their seventh Lombardi Trophy. How are you even processing this right now?

Gabe Davis: [laughs, shaking his head] Honestly, I’m still trying to take it all in. To be standing here as a Super Bowl champion and MVP… it’s just surreal. You dream about this moment, but to actually live it? Man, it’s a blessing.

Reporter: Let’s talk about those touchdowns. What was the connection like tonight between you and Aaron Rodgers?

Gabe Davis: It was special. Aaron is… I mean, he’s Aaron Rodgers. One of the greatest to ever play this game. He saw things out there before anyone else did. On that first touchdown, he literally looked at me before the snap and I knew it was coming. The second one, that was him putting it exactly where only I could get it. And the third? [smiles] That’s just Rodgers doing Rodgers things, keeping the play alive and trusting me to finish it. I just wanted to make him look good.

Reporter: You’ve had some legendary playoff performances before in your career, but tonight was on another level. What does it mean to do this in a Steelers uniform?

Gabe Davis: Everything. The Steelers organization is about toughness, tradition, and championships. To be able to add to that legacy, especially alongside a guy like Aaron Rodgers, is just incredible. Pittsburgh believed in me, and I wanted to repay that belief with something unforgettable.

Reporter: Last one, Gabe. You’re holding the Lombardi Trophy. What’s your message to Steelers Nation tonight?

Gabe Davis: [raising the trophy] Pittsburgh, this is for you! You’ve got the best fans in football, and we’re bringing another championship back home. Seven looks pretty good… but we’re not done yet!

[Teammates mob Davis, Rodgers gives him a hug, confetti rains down]
