The Jets will try to shut down DK more than any other Steeler, which gives Wilson a chance to shine. Look for him to provide at least one 15+ yard play. I think we have a good WR#2. Will Rodgers trust him? Tomlin did not play Rodgers in the pre-season, limiting the chemistry to bond between the two players.

    Go #10.

Every team will double DK. I'm hoping Rodgers makes Wilson a better receiver. I too think our receivers will be OK with Rodgers leadership.

I hope to see a lot of 3 TEs sets. I know I say this a lot, but if we can actually pass well from this set, it's hard on the Defense to get the right match-ups against it.

It won't be just Wilson that has to step up if DK is drawing double coverage, we need Jonnu, Muth, Austin along with Warren, Gainwell who lined up at WR during camp.

Sure hope it's a lot more than one 15+ yd pass play. We're 'd if that's the case.

Sauce Gardner can handle Metcalf all by his self. In 2022 DK had 1 rec on 5 tgts for 3 yds. Last season he had 4 rec for 66 yds (a lowly 44 catch %) That will leave the Jets with a lot of flexibility in the secondary depending on who the Steelers have on the field.

I think the TE's are going to get a lot of work against the Jets.

Sauce wasn't good last season so I wouldn't write DK off.

I would love to see Gardner one on one vs Metcalf

Last year he had 1 interception

He was ranked 98th in giving up receptions that is barely #3 DB ability

    He sucks at run defense

Other than that he was middle of the pack of #2 DBs

Then they can put DJ Reed on him. He was ranked better than any CB on the Steelers last season.

That’s not a good endorsement for Austin

    But I told you that

That would be kind of hard to do since Reed plays for Detroit now.

Pat Freiermuth might also join in on the party given how heavy Arthur Smith uses his Tight Ends. That said, Roman Wilson has had one helluva bounce back from his Rookie Season. Dude has been tearing it up since OTAs.

Now it is time to see if he is ready for the Regular Season.

I really have no expectations for Wilson. Lets' let him get his first catch first then go from there. I'll be pleasantly surprised if he has a couple catches for first downs. I'd put his over/under for catches at 2.5
