Buckingham Palace! Big Ben! An English Pub! Stonehenge! A Protest March! lol! The protesters were very confused!

Awesome. Warming up the British Isles for the big game in Ireland later on where there will be tens of thousand Terrible Towels if other road games are any indication. Love the Stonehenge pic. Very jealous. I love studying that edifice, have several very nerdy books profusely illustrated about the Henge engineering, myth and folklore.

I was in England in 1976 for over a month. It was a little tough following the Steelers. It was warm beer, darts, soccer and girls so drunk it was impossible to understand them with that accent but turned out no talking was necessary.

First thing I did when ship docked was run to store for sports paper.

 

What were they protesting?? Was it the Towel? If so we are coming over to kick their ass. (again)

 

Technically they came over to us for the ass kicking

There are loads of Steelers fans in England and the UK in general.

I have my terrible towel permanently displayed in my house on the wall. Gets waved like crazy on game day of course.
