That doesn’t seem like a cut of meat that would shred unless you stewed it

Damn NFL Network is showing Jets/Giants. They had three 7:00 games to choose from and they picked New York in my area. Ravens/Cowgirls and Steelers/Bucs on same time.

Sure Steelers will be on Sunday morning re-play.

We should get cheerleaders. Black and gold would look so fine.

I’m on a shrimp hiatus for a few months until I can buy it fresh off the boat in October

But I will be drinking Italian beer with the Italian locals in 21 days

Although I found Moretti Beer to be more common on my prior trips

 

Picnic, burgers, hot dogs,sweet corn, stuffed banana peppers
And lots of beer!

 

Since it's TB, thinking about some Steak Tampiquena. Uses a cheaper cut of meat with tons of add-ons and sides. I wouldn't dare do this to a real steak like a rib eye or T bone. Santee will know what I'm talking about. Usually only available at smaller Momma and Papa Mexican food joints. Quite tasty. Washed down with an ice cold Bohemian or two.

I had never heard of this dish so decided to check it out. Assuming the AI history is accurate it’s pretty interesting

 

Interesting. I knew it originated in Tampico (not Tampa Bay of course). Used to order it at a tiny seedy looking restaurant/bar in Downtown Santa Ana CA called the Chico Club. The owner could have been a character in Breaking Bad. I only went there with gents who blended in better than I did but enjoyed the food and rugged environment.
