Every off-season we've talked about meeting up at a bar to watch an away game. Every season we just never got around to finalizing that plan. I'm suggesting we start picking a game and location now, while there's not much else to talk about.

I'll nominate the jets game at whatever bar is closest bar to Heinz Field.

You're probably right. I guess a couple of brewskis would help make you guys a little more tolerable :drinks:

Speaking of getting together, has anyone heard from @forgotten1@forgotten1
Not like him to not make a few appearances here, and there.

What makes you so sure he's a him? Has a lot of the delightful spontaneity as Darcrav did way back before your time I think (no offense @forgotten1@forgotten1).

I'm not at all sure , but either way, I believe he stays at times in Texas, and I hope He didn't get caught up in that flooding.

The bar scene might work for us poorer slops, but the Cardinals just introduced a package for away games. Get tickets, flights, hotels to a cards away game..total at $2500 bucks. Steeler fans travel well. and for that matter have enough fans all over to put a dent in most stadiums, the Cards on the other hand...well the radio guy asked, "have you ever met anyone that was a Cards fan outside of Phoenix? or in Phoenix for that matter." lmao

I've personally never met a NFL Cardinals fan, and all my friends in Arizona are from other places, and so support other teams.

A few years back I met up with fans on a Pirate message board. Funny how you picture them in your mind and they turn out looking completely different. We met in Philly and saw the Pirates get an ass kicking.

I had a few friends move to Arizona and a few to Tampa Bay area. All said same thing about most the people are fans of other teams. My TB buddy went to the NHL victory parade and told me most people didn't give a crap about the Lightning, they were there for the party.

    This part concerns

Im not sure how big some of the trolls in the litter box are

I know how dumb they are but big and dumb is a bad combination when you get drunk and piss people off

    Just saying

And if I show up with a couple of large German speaking associates I’ve found that tends to be a buzz kill

    That’s a great scene

Just the other day when cleaning my own pool after a bunch of kids used it I told her it looked like someone left a Baby Ruth in there

I don’t think she got it
