Steelers trade for Jalen Ramsey

I'm not talking about right before the draft, I'm talking about like this far from the draft as we are now. There was quite a bit of talk before the college football season about Qbs that would be taken high that next draft, and none of them turned out that way. Just like now people talking about Qbs in the 1st round before the college season even starts.

 

This is possible you are 100% right about that,I was just a bit away from the action that year!

 

He’s still got some tread on the tires left but not much. He got cooked a lot in Miami the last couple seasons. I think we should have kept Fitz but that’s just my opinion. Hopefully he can get back to his Ram days. He was a beast then. He can be a head case as well. I guess we shall see what he will be with us. In Miami I think they tried to make him the whole backfield.

We need to wait, and see 1st, instead of .....dang we need to move up, and draft a Qb in the 1st. None of them maybe worthy of that, or maybe 5, or 6 maybe worthy of it, as of right now we don't know either way.

 

Excluding Arch Manning I expect 6-7 QBs to go in the first round next year.

 

But the Steelers don't need Ramsey to cover WR1, they can move around in the secondary and play him close to the line of scrimmage.

 

When we traded up I was 100% sure it was to take Gonzalez, I was floored when they announced Jones as the pick.

 

Winner, I believe I even said something not nice during that time.

 

I believe we will see him everywhere, but I could be wrong.

 

We shall see. Not a snap of college football has been played, and we see every year how some players drop, and some rise, and yet people want to say 6-7 Qbs will go in the 1st round, and just because they do, it doesn't make them worthy of the pick. Pickett was drafted in the 1st round, and he wasn't. Hell we could make a very long list of Qbs drafted in the 1st who should never have been.
Let's at least watch them play the season out 1st.

 

They might put him at S who knows. I hope not but that’s what has been said. I hope he works out no doubt. He was a beats in LA. I just didn’t like what I saw in Miami. I live in Florida so I saw almost every Dolphins game.

Well, the next draft is loaded with QB talent compared to the Pickett draft.

 

I would rather see Ramsey on the field instead of a 34 year old Slay and a small Beanie Bishop, he will be helped by a better pass rush than he had in Miami.
