    Johnston or Waitman?

Is Johnston even healthy enough to compete this offseason?

We're not punting this season. Score every drive or die trying!!!

i thought waitman did a pretty good job last year. either one is capable if johnston is recovered. that's the problem. only a year removed from a bad bad injury.

Bring them both to camp may the best man win, maybe another team suffers an injury to their punter in training camp then trade Waitman.

What if it’s Waitman who’s the best man?

So you advocate for the best man winning, but also for trading a particular player before the competition begins? Make it make sense

Johnson will be the Punter, he looks healed. Too bad he got hurt the 1st game last year, he really is one of the best punters in the NFL.

Unless they want to save some sort of cap space or something. I see no way for Johnson to lose his punting spot.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Waitman punting for someone he did a decent enough job.

Where did I say trade him before the competition begins? Another team could suffer an injury late in camp if both are still on the team they could then make a trade. Reading comprehension is hard for some people .

Probably Johnston. Waitman looked good last year until the hard stretch games where he had some breakdowns that allowed the games to snowball. I think Johnston has a little better consistency and length.
