Looking at our schedule it wouldn't surprise me if we started out 5-0 and ended up 9-8. The back half of the schedule is really tough.

I can't believe fans actually think like this thinking the coach is worried about some stupid streak . If you feel this way don't bother watching them play.

Good points. There are too many unknowns with this team.

Rogers is better than what we have been trotting out as QB, but he is in his 40's. Does he fall off the cliff?

How well do the new guys in the trenches develop on both sides of the ball?

The coaching and schemes may prevent the bottom from falling out completely but this team likely has a wild card blowout ceiling. The schedule does the Steelers no favors.

    6 wins to 9 wins?

Agree that Rodgers will be focused on protecting himself from big hits and interceptions. However Big Ben had taken over many games by himself and won many games in spite of the coaching.

More in the first half of his career than 2nd half. Last one I distinctly remember was end of 2020 season when Steelers came back and beat the Colts with Rivers at QB. Unfortunately, that was the last game Steelers would win that year. The usual popcorn December decline.

Wilson might do OK for the Giants... we'll see. Giants have the best chance of success, IMO. Cowboys are gonna suck even with CeeDee and Pickens at WR. Fields? I don't expect much, but Jets could be better than they were last year.

Will shall see, and this wasn't to anyone specifically, but I believe if someone thinks that our coaches suck, then they should believe that Everyone that left will have a way better season than us.

The Cowboys are weak in the trenches, notably on D-Line, have a choker as a QB, and unfortunately in the same division as the Eagles and Commanders. Pickens won't change the balance of power in that division.

I think the Giants will be battling with the Cowboys for third place.

Of course we're a better team. What NFL team isn't? That's what free agency and drafts are for. But more importantly than that is "How much better will the Steelers be?"
The way I see it (in looking at the schedule alone)....outside of our division A-Rod will be the better QB in every game except vs the Bills and Lions. So let's say Steelers split with Lamar and Burrows, (like last season). Then I think the Steelers can realistically go 13-4 or 12-5. I know, I know you're thinking "I must be drinking Tequilla". But the Steelers beat all the good up coming teams last season which includes, Broncos, Commanders and Chargers. And this was without our 1st and 3rd round draft picks, Pickens missing a few games and our starting QB missing the first 6 games. If Rodgers plays every game the Steelers will go 12-5 or 13-4. Every year the Steelers starting QB doesn't finish the season. In 23' Trubisky to Pickett to Rudolph. Then in 24' Fields to Russ. Rodgers has to be 3 games better than those collection of QBs if he stays healthy and the offense get's use to one QB. I think outside of KC with (Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy and Marquise Brown) the Steelers will have the fastest trio at WR in the NFL. And for those of you who think you need these elite WRs to win. Ask yourself; what elite WRs do the Bills, KC, Ravens, Broncos, Chargers have that we can't compete with?

I say we go 12-5, win the division, have a #3 seed in the AFC and go to the AFC Championship game. Yes. I said it!

And for those of you who think we can't beat Baltimore in the playoffs remember this....Lamar Jackson has beaten Ryan Tannehill, rookie C.J Stroud and last year's Russell Wilson in the playoffs. That's it. Rodgers will certainly beat Lamar if healthy.

10-3 last season and I'm thinking if we split last 4 we got a slim chance. And then came three ass kicking's and a tough loss to Bengals.

9 dubs … 10 tops. WR is still a major hole. 1 semi-elite WR puts us in the same predicament as last season with only Pickens. Imagine we had one more elite/semi elite WR during that 5 game losing stretch. We’d of likely had a home playoff game.

I could elaborate more about our weak coaching, especially the OC but that would take to long. Now if by some miracle the Steelers grab another elite/semi-elite WR, I may be convinced to entertain 11-12 dubs.
