So the writer of this article has Hurts a greater QB than YA Tittle, Phil Simms, Fran Tarkenton, Ken Stabler, Kurt Warner, Otto Graham, Joe Namath, Joe Burrow, Dan Fouts, Big Ben and Bradshaw. The punk kid that wrote this article probably never heard of most of these QB's.

I think he did this on purpose he knew all the other fan bases would respond which is what these kinds of posts want, say something dumb just for clicks.

The question was QBs who wore the number 12.

I heard on Pittsburgh sports talk shows that it was the Dolphins who started that rumor about Marino.

It’s regulated to QB’s that wore #12 but yeah, overall, Joe Cool would be a good choice.

My Top 8..not in any order of who I'd take to win. I know why not 5, or 10....Because I need more than 5, and less than 10 that I would actually take.
    Montana
    Brady
    Ben
    Elway
    Bradshaw
    Aikman
    Manning
Mahomes.....I know Mahomes is still very young ,but in the 7 years he has actually played, he has been to 7 AFC Championships, 5 SBs , and won 3 SBs......that's already a hell of a career. For our sakes as a Steeler fan, let hope that's all from him. LoL

Going beyond 12, id take Terry over Montana, tougher, and made big plays against stiffer competition. Joe Montana is probably second. As for 12 itself, i think the answer is obvious.

Bradshaw's Superbowl stays are very good. 4-0, 9 TD's and 4 picks. An excellent QB rating of 112. But Montana's are out of this world. 4-0, 11 TD's and zero picks and a great QB rating of 127.

its not always about the stats. You had to watch the games to properly evaluate their performances. Bradshaw willed the steelers to victories in the 78 and 79 SB’s. (Staubach was doing anything he wanted against our D and the Rams had shutdown Franco in 14).

Terry just played on another level when it came to the postseason.

I definitely watched all 4 of the Steelers Superbowl victories in the 70's, I was in my 20's then. Bradshaw completed a grand total of 9 passes for 96 yards in Superbowl IX. His main contribution was handing off to Franco and Rocky who combined for over 220 yards rushing. In Superbowl X he benefited from Swann making some of the most spectacular catches in Superbowl history and Bradshaw missed most of the fourth quarter in the game. He was great in Superbowl XIII no doubt about that and he was quite the gunslinger in Superbowl XIV throwing 2 TD's but 3 picks against the Rams. I don't mean to denigrate Bradshaw's Superbowl performances, they were very good overall but nowhere near as spectacular as Montana's.

Not good at following trends so TB 12 it is.

All time is Montana then Bradshaw.

For what it is worth the guy the Steelers took showed signs of being greater than Joe Greene

And then he drank a few bears and forgot to buckle up

I saw a game where Gabe Rivera looped around right end and the play was a quick toss to the opposite side

Rivera ran past the QB and ran the WR down from the back having given him about a10 yard lead

It took him about 70 yards but a DL ran a WR down from the back

Agree. Rivera was a monster and a great pick before he messed up his own career.

I can't put Manning there. He's definitely in My top 10, but not my top 5.

i watched Bradshaws playoff runs in 78 and 79 and Montanas runs in the 80’s. Terry faced stiffer competition/uphill battles in those super bowls. Montanas teams dominated their opponents. Joe was impressive no doubt, but facing Ken Anderson and flawed broncos teams is not as impressive as beating staubach and the superbowl champs or that killer Rams defense of the 70’s, not to mention Tarkenton and the purple people eaters
