    I'm sorry for your loss, Rollers. I don't care what anyone says. Dogs are family. And losing them hurts.

    As someone once said (I don't recall where I heard it), he may have been your best friend for part of your life. But you were his for his whole life. And I know that dogs know how we feel. He knew you loved him. Take comfort in that.

    Sorry guy. Not allowed to have a dog or I would. Last loss I remember of a dog was my families 60 years ago. I cried for days. I use to dress the poor guy in Pirate shirts.

    The day you take a dog in you know what the end result is going to be but you still do it for the part in between

    There is a good movie called “Marley and me” that I refused to watch because I already know the ending
