I don't care where he plays in the offense..... as long as he puts up the numbers we need, then this trade will be a win

The best thing that can happen for the steelers is a 5-12 season or worse but the steelers will do everything to have a 9-8 type season again

I like it. We need faith someone else will step up. Everybody is replaceable.
    Let’s go Steelers!

That signing is a complete waste of time now.

Can't trust Khan at WR, made a complete mess of it last year. Sunk the season. I actually beleived he had somehting up his sleeve in '24, but he didn't.

I hate to break it to you but Wilson isn't replacing Pickens production.

It goes down simply because the team has the pick in camp. A couple of years ago some teams made giant WR trades on draft day, the teams evaluated their needs, felt a vet on that standing was as or more valuable for them that the rookie they might get (thinking Ravens and Eagles). When the draft is over the trading team gets no current value for a future pick, the receiving team gets one year (unless they can extend), the value goes down for whatever those teams are willing to offer/receive. We dod not have to trade, for whatever reasons (we do not know), that offer was felt the best we could get. Could Omar have played the long game, wait till camp and see if some WR went down, sure, but also could have been at the trade deadline with GP sitting out and taken a 6th or worse just to move him. It is what it is, I wanted to see what could have been a terrific tandem on the field, but in reality we might have just relieved ourselves of a full summer and longer of GP turmoil.

People are doom and gloom about this. I don't think losing Pickens means much in the grand scheme of things for Steelers.

This is not like losing Woodson after '96. Nowhere close. Losing Plaxico after '04 was worse than losing Pickens... and Steelers did just fine without Burress in 2005!

Losing Santonio Holmes after 2009 was worse, IMO. Hell, I'd argue losing Martavis Bryant to marijuana abuse was worse than losing Pickens! :lolol:

You need more than one dependable WR, we saw that crappy offense last year.

Not apologizing for GPs lack of maturity. He doesn't bring the same thing to the team that JC or JJ does. They are way more complete WRs. Maybe GP could have got the ball more if he was better? Maybe he could have been trusted more if he wasn't throwing a fit and taking plays off, not blocking, etc.? What compensation do you expect to get with his film and history? I'd like a 2nd too, but it wasn't realistic. I'll take the 3rd and understand that the comp pick was no sure thing.

GPs removal from the roster doesn't change our minimal chances of a SB in 2025 by that much IMO. I seriously doubt they are that concerned about it.

Don't thank me for anything. You're a disappointment to your father's name.

You don't get to go being an asshat and than swap gears to trying to act grateful.

    Thank gosh he's gone.

He isn't going to dawn the Dallas uniform and suddenly 100% each route/play. He's selfish and thinks "me" first. It's call a character trait and tendencies. That's him. Bye Bye
