Just remembered

Around me it seems every other month they open a New Mexican Restaurant and a car wash. It seems the food and atmosphere are nearly the same at all of them. I do know of about 2 that seem to be a lot better than the others so I usually go back to those after trying yet another after grand opening.

 

oh it did. my wife and i have tried it many times at home and it has been just as good. we tried flour tortillia's and corn. corn is the ticket.

 

In 1621 when the pilgrims were celebrating their thanksgiving that they didn’t starve their were already hotels and restaurants in Santa Fe New Mexico

In New Mexico beans come separate in a bowl and some restaurants you actually go there for the beans exempli gratia Michael’s in Taos NM

Rice is not always added

Enchilda sauce is made from red chiles and not some form of salsa

Green Chile is very common and my favorite

When in New Mexico I take a big suitcase empty and pack it with frozen chopped peeled green chile to bring home it is worth the extra bag fee

We made green chili, and totally different chili sausage for tamales.
Also tell that to all the Mexicans that were born in Texas, but their families are all from Mexico.

My dad had prostate cancer about 15 years ago and they placed radioactive seeds around the tumor. Different from chemo, but even so he was frequently sick for the six months they were active. But I've a couple of friends who had to take up the fight and went through chemo. Suffice to say, not a pleasant experience. But they're all still in remission.
