no he isn't and i'll chime in too. we have 3 QB's. plenty of WR's. a full stable of RB's. DLinemen. pass rushers. ILB'ers. DB's. TE's i'm not sure what your big complaint is. many of these you haven't seen play yet but have already condemned them. maybe wait until they actually play a game or two.

Browns may place Watson on IR all year just to save face

If rogers comes here will he be the first super bowl winning qb to then go start for the team he beat? Curious if that ever happened before?

Not so much to save face but to save a roster spot

    Cutting him is expensive

    And they already lost “face”

It occurs to me that if someone hears a faint boom from the northwest, it is just Kenny Pickett’s head exploding after the Browns signed a 40 year old Joe Flacco and drafted two more quarterbacks AFTER he was traded to the Browns.
Wonder if he will demand a trade?
Browns, thank you again for taking Shed Door so I didn’t worry that the Steelers would.
Anyone have any idea what the Browns can do with Watson? That cap hit makes it unlikely that they will cut him. Haslam better sell a lot more diesel fuel and greasy fries.

They never had face to lose. But they lost their ass. That was the most idiotic contract in NFL history.
Surely Haslam was behind that deal, and drafting Shed Door.

Maybe they should see what Roman can do before worrying about replacing him.

All the Steelers picks have 3 solid years or more of college starter experience. I like that and hope they continue that trend.

They added Metcalf and drafted a RB and QB.

how do you justify spending two picks on QBs who may not even be on the team next year? Oh forgot it’s the Browns

Watson won't have a season ending. So if they put him to return, they'll still won't go 3 and then him to return late in the season.

Those last two words and lame cheap shot have exposed you.

    What is your generic name?

I read somewhere that they can’t realistically cut Watson until June 1, 2026. So he will be taking up a roster spot until at least then. He will have 14 months to brief Shed Door on how to game the system to his advantage.

Must have hit its target, you have taken the time to reply. Get over it. I make funny names for many players. O’Chloroform, Trey Turnstile, Mitch Turdbilgeski, etc…..

Oddly enough, other than the Watson contract, another really bad one led to
Browns (I)becoming the Ravens. The old Browns franchise gave Andre Rison a big contract and then he was awful. The owner had to borrow money to pay it off, and he gave that as one reason he moved the team to Baltimore. I think I remember that right.

Here’s to (me) hoping a trade with Pickens is in the cards. But a 1 for 1 doesn’t help your WR tally.

Pickens is a very talented WR and one who I think is actually better than his dumb diva brain and attitude allow him to be. If he were a different internal man like Ward or Fitzgerald then I would dream to keep him until he retired.

I would rather have a team of guys that I like personally than a pack of wolves that I dislike and win a Super Bowl if given the choice.
