I feel for the kid. there is something else at play here. I get the issue with maybe being overly cocky, BUT thousands of players have been drafted where their talent said said they should go. I mean did you not expect Deion's son Not To be cocky? I'm not seeing a problem child here. Has he just been overvalued?? NFL host are 1000% right not even THEY are in those rooms.

What I had issue with was Eisen claiming there was an agenda here against Deon. Look I'm not a scout but the tape IMHO doesn't merit a 1st round pick. Tough as nails, yes, stand in the face of really bad OL play and take the hit, yes, way too many scramble sacks?,yes. An Athlete, no. His school a power school, no. At what point is it Deon's fault for not getting him in the portal to a better team for Shadure's best interest? This just isn't Kapernick 2.0

That was what a guy was saying on the radio today. His dad has been his coach his entire football experience, with that he has been the son of Prime and lived in that attitude area all his life. Maybe this humbles him, but ultimately he is displaying who and what he is, being cocky and confident is great on the field, it wont go far if it's displayed against your employers.

Reminds me a bit of the Lakers drama a few years ago with the Ball kid. His dad flapping his mouth and Magic Johnson fell into it. Kid could actually play some ball, but was not 'all that'. Shadeur may actually be a decent QB, but you have to learn the trade and earn the stripes.

He can't even though he doesn't have an agent. Rules changed, it was actually brought up on the NFL desk an they didn't know in the moment cause emotions were getting , well hot, and they were told in the ear piece no he can't and to move on to cooler part. Eisen was a you know what hair from blurting the NFL "C" word.

Me too. I’d roll the dice on him in the 4th or even Howard in the 5th.

i think at this point he's probably worth the risk of a 4th rounder.. if the rumors prove true and his attitude sucks and/or the deion factor becomes a distraction, you can cut him after year one and not miss anything.. it's not uncommon for 4th rounders to get cut after a season, and sometimes even prior to their rookie season... the loss is minimal, because these late rounders are crap shoots anyhow. if they don't go Sanders, i wouldn't be unhappy with Howard or Ewers after round 4. take a flier on one of those kids, and if it doesn't look promising after this season, draft a QB early next year's stacked QB class in pittsburgh

I didn’t even understand what Rich was implying. Didn’t Deion work at the NFL Network for a long time? Why would there be a conspiracy against Deion?

Shedeur expects to start, to get the starting contract, and compete for SB. It will be tough to find that team on day 3.

Sorry Teams don't want it dialed back, They want it GONE or find another team. That's my honest take on this. Kids got hart, he cares, and Deion can't touch a phone. Shadure has to do it and be responsible for it. HE has to own it now. Pappa put him here, but part of becoming a man is owning those lets say lack of good judgments, shutting your moth and getting done what has to get done.

Have we ALL not had to do this? Cocky Entitlement is the worst. If they really did pull the we don't want to play for you Browns, He's NOT the talent of Eli, or the clout of that family.
Shadure, just isn't the talent that Deion was to pull that one off. If that roomer is true, that explains his slide. The Browns took a 5' 11' Oregon QB that has ZERO chance to make an NFL 53 man roster, rather than Him! what is the message with that pick!

As for the Steelers, that dog don't hunt like that. They took who was best for THEIR team. This has turned into something they clearly want no part off in any round. Shudure deserved to be put in a better position to succeed, bottom line.

No way Steelers draft him in 4th if their plan is to just cut him IF a problem comes up. Tell that to McCormick, last years 4th! 4's arr not throw a ways under Kahn! They will take McCord, Howard, or even Ewers. They are not touching Sanders now with a 50 ft pole after what happened tonight at the NFL network desk. We have other needs with the 4 picks we have left. Still real good talent out there for us. Jalen Reed is still on the board, real good S.

I got a good bit of respect for him, but he slipped some tonight for me That has no business on an NFL draft stage. Yeah there is a double standard. Mike Green can be accused of two different sex assault charges in two different places, come across as not telling the truth, but because he IS a 1st round talent he got drafted by the Ravens tonight. WR Bond facing exact same two charges, IS a rd 2/3 talent and he is on the board. Place Sanders where you feel he fits. He HAS to come across as someone that will just not man up off the field.

We're all get grasping at straws until this has all shakes out. Sad that it's not happening by the end of this draft.

I still prefer Qwen Ewers over Will Howard on Day 3. There is a reason why Arch Manning road the bench the last 2 years behind Ewers.

Not a clue what to think of Shedeur Sanders right now. Only time will tell if I was completely wrong about Shedeur being the best QB in the draft.

The Steelers all we have been hearing is they want more speed at RB, they showed interest in smaller faster RBs. But they couldn't help themselves they draft a 6'1 224lb RB who runs a 4.57 forty, make it make sense . With that being said I still think Kaleb Johnson will be a good player for them.

Caleb Johnson is somewhat like Leveon Bell or Curtis Martin with his ability to find and hit the holes/gaps in the running game. This was something that Najee lacked. He is also a pass catching threat coming out of back field in a way Najee was not.

Thought I was the only one asking that? Like WTF?!

Then you realize they're marketing to overseas viewers that might not know that answer and it makes sense.

Like we got a RB. Someone for Mason to hand ball to. I don't follow NCAA but am shocked Sanders is still available. Steelers have got to select some QB.

Take Sanders, maybe he'll have a chip on his shoulder about being passed over.

At this point it’s not a talent issue keeping him from being drafted. Theres no way anyone can think the QB’s being taken in front of him are better. Milroe at least has a high ceiling if he can develop, big if.

No agenda. The kid has only ever played for his dad his entire football life. That has to be a concern to NFL coaches. Is he really going to be coachable, or will he 'know it all' already? Add the lack of anything really special about him as a QB and it's not hard to see why he is mostly viewed as a backup.

I'd rather the Steelers focus on a QB that has at least one trait that is NFL starting quality and will take instruction and coaching from a non-family member.
