Trading him puts us in the exact same position as last year.

I don’t agree with this idea that a team can’t draft Sanders and have him sit for a year. Why not? Because his punk of a father will raise a fuss? Who cares?

Yup, as much as they may have wanted out of DJ he was best suited for the routes they were trying with Austin last year.

Not necessarily. After the draft FA signings don't count against the compensatory formula. There are a few quality vets that could come in.

I'm pretty sure they didn't have to trade up to draft a Guard.

He's saying he's better than most of the FA out there right now and with DK he might command more in FA next year for a higher comp pick.

That's what I was thinking. Unless they thought the Patriots were going OT - G

The Browns, who need a quarterback, just passed on Sanders twice in the second round. The league is telling us how little they think of him. I can’t believe people on this board were arguing that the Steelers should try to trade up into the top three picks in the draft to get him. lol

I'll say it again, the draft was so much better when they had it on Sat, Sun.. This dragging it out is BS

The thing I worry about is deep throws and his patting the ball tick.

If they trade Pickens, it should only be for a 2nd round pick - the highest comp they could get for him (in 2027) is a 3rd. So if you're only getting 3rd round offers, keep him.

He said without Pickens we'd be in the same boat as last year, and that's not necessarily true, even if it would be a lesser room than Metcalf/Pickens.

Great value for New England there. Wouldn't surprise me to see him become the lead back there quickly this year.

You can pass all you want. My point is they have the money and one of them with Metcalf would be better than what they went in with last year + we get whomever they pick up in the 2nd from the trade.

So far I see key opponents getting stronger, particularly division rival Browns and Bengals, and so far all we have is an injured guy and no 2nd round pick.

You can't deny GP talent, but let's circle back to this mid season when he's had multiple melt downs, quits on plays etc Again, uber talented, but ...idk

Burden slid pretty hard. Bears got lucky there.
