This!! I'll go 50 that it's happening now that we passed Dart and Sanders. this DT class is SO deep he might slide to 4th or even 5th, book it!

Ewers reported weaknesses are pocket presence and anticipation/decision making. It just sounds like Pickett 2.0. Sure if the intention is to draft a backup. No if the intention is to draft a potential starter

The Fields effect, no doubt, add in the fact he is a way better RB than QB, and that makes him slide to the 4th, where if he's there we find a way to take him. While I prefer to stock 2026 picks to trade up for a QB, we need a long term QB2, and that is what he will be for a couple yrs even in OUR ofence

Ewers can throw better than Pickett.

I still think the valued Harmon over Grant. Tomlin just doesn't think a NT is needed anymore. He's wrong, But that's the way he wants it. I see us grabbing Caldwell in the4th or 5th. Too many really good NT's in this draft, and Weidle, and Kahn will win the table pounding battle in the later rounds, because of the talent in this DT class, we need it anyway, AR is sick of the blowouts and even HE can see the issue. Years of passing up DT talent for other skill positions that were exciting to watch but didn't get us a SB, even withe the Killer Bee's.

Kahn has watched Colbert for years, and knew when he went off script, leaving BPA on the board for Coblert's swing on athletes without production. Kahn know not to go for the home run when a double or triple will do just fine.

I like the Harmon pick tonight. Definite position of need and he was a productive player who has the prototype build the Steelers look for in a 5-technique defensive end. Seems like it’s getting harder to find these guys the last few years. Not many 6’5” 300-lb dudes out there with 34-inch arms who also run a 4.9 forty I guess.

Harmon should immediately start in Larry O’s spot and could be the eventual replacement for Cam.

I don’t think any of this QB class was worth a first round pick.

Sanders probably goes in the 2nd, maybe even to Cleveland. But I read somewhere that the Sanders camp has made it known that they do not want Cleveland to draft him so who knows?

if they really want to draft a QB they may be able to grab Milroe in the 4th or Howard in the 5th as a camp arm to compete with Skylar. I’m afraid we may end up with the Rodgers drama this season.

I sure hope our two first-round offensive tackles pan out or this is all moot.

Welcome Derrick Harmon, I am hopeful that this dude will add longevity to our DL and be another Cam for the next 10+ years. All the media talking about QB's..... Sanders and Dart are just too risky boom or bust and likely gone at the end of their rookie deal.

Well they did. It's not even close. Graham, a2026 1st 4th pick of Rd 2! Passing on Sanders, NOT trading back into 1st for Sanders! Where did the Stains get relocated to?

If Steelers want to trade back into the 2nd round, I say keep Pickens and trade Our 3rd wr ( austin?) or what whatever his name is and a comp pick in next years draft

Two of these three will happen.

Unless Wyatt Milum has a cataclysmic free fall, I dont see the third happening.

You know what? I would do whatever it takes to take Sanders JUST TO SHUT KEIPER UP !!!. MAN is he just hammering us for picking Harmon, when 5 days ago he was lauding us in his mock thing guess who? Harmon. If we got Sanders now he's pigeon holed into us having the top draft bar none!! Even his Ratbirds!!

It's been too many decades, Kahn should have revived the "Who the HELL is Mel KEIPER anyway'!!!

After a night of chewing on it, going to trust the process. I agree with building from the trenches back, I’ve advocated for it on here in the past, football is won in the trenches. The best QB in the league had no answer for the Eagles. Of course, focusing on the trenches is only part of the equation, have to pick the right players, too. Hopefully they are.

Worried that they passed on a possible answer at QB but I think we have better people in charge now and when every QB needy team is passing on you, that should be seen as a red flag and not you getting lucky a player fell into your lap. It’s how they should have handled Pickett.

If they like him and just felt he wasn’t first rd talent, maybe they get him in the 3rd or move into the second for him and then you get your lineman and your QB. Thats good drafting.

    See what happens tonight.

But don’t forget the three first round picks they traded to Houston to get Watson. Probably the worst transaction in NFL history. They are trying to undo the damage they have done to themselves.
Being the Browns, they likely will mess this up too.
