It’s here! 12 hours to go!

As usual no spoiler please. Spoilers just means no announcing picks before they are announced on TV.

Here we go Steelers here we go!

It's going to be interesting to see if they reach for a QB (hope not), or if George Pickens gets traded.

They need to trade Pickens if the Steelers don't intend to pay him 30-35 million per year this summer or the drama is going to be crazy...That's the last thing we need

I think the Bengals will snipe Harmon or Grant.
I also think the Steelers will take whoever is there of Ward, Sanders, or Dart

Nolen and then maybe Caldwell in the 4/5. Way too many missed tackles by Harmon

No not even close. Sanders is only a topic of discusssion in the first round because of his dad. There’s nothing on tape that shows he’s a first round talent. Dart is a first read guy and not much more. If they want a project pick up milroe later and hope he develops like Lamar

My concern for tonight,I think the steelers are going to make a panic move with their 21 pick and have a huge reach, similar at the Artie Burns draft pick in 2016

Probably not. I happen to favor Harmon and Grant, myself.

hope they don't trade him, if they don't couldn't they always put the franchise tag on him at the end of the season, that would save them some $$$?

Yes and no. You aren't committing long term dollars to the player, but you get whacked with the entire tender amount on that year's cap. OTC estimates the franchise tender for WRs will be $28M in 2026.

Teams typically like some kind of extension with high-dollar players, because it allows them to spread the money around and have some say in how much they have to account for and when.

Maybe next offseason, I would love to see what DK/Pickens can do with Rodgers or Rudolph

I get what you're saying with seeing both in action, but they can't trade him next offseason - he's scheduled to become a free agent at the end of the year.

Is this the Pro Day they missed so they could talk to Aaron Rodgers?
