A more focused George Pickens in 2025?

ya, I’m saying we need a Dedication God trainer who uses social media so players listen to him.

 

Chad had some knucklehead moments, but if you have heard recent interviews he really was/is a a pretty smart guy. That image he portrayed was just that, an image, the bling he wore as fake, and one place he laughed and said he was actually cheap, lol. The actual truth is something only he knows, but apparently he is one former star who invested instead of spent like a fool, that alone makes him smarter than a lot of former NFL players.

 

I just can't imagine Pickens being more focused as the #2 WR on this team. I also can't imagine the Steelers signing Pickens after this year and committing $300 million to the WR room; we are not the Bengals.

If the Steelers are not going all in for 2025, they need to see what they can get for Pickens, before he walks out the door as a free agent at the end of this year.

 

Well, he'll most likely get them a 3rd rd compensatory pick for leaving via free agency. If they can't do much better than that in a trade, then you might as well keep him for the year.

Seen a post where they have taken calls, but havnt made calls abt trading, I doubt they are shopping him.. he is a game changer, and the fans prob think he is a bigger problem than what the team does

SMH that anyone entertains the thought he will trade GP but it is offseason and people need attention

 

Oh, geez. Shake your head all you want, but it's not unreasonable to think about the scenarios/upside to trading him.

I'm not saying what Khan and the PTB will do, but there are pros and cons to moving him, and I don't see the problem discussing both.

 

If they go into the season with both Metcalf and Pickens as our starting WRs and Rudolph is our QB ... this team will implode.

Those guys by themselves can blow up on the sideline and locker room. Them together, it is game over.

All it will take is Rudolph to throw a few balls short like he is known to do.

 

Wow. In this day and age this is not a good sign. I am still guessing George is demanding a new contract before the season, and the Steelers are saying "NO".

And, I am still guessing the Steelers will trade George to the Panthers to move up to #8 and select QB Shedeur Sanders. I also believe drafting Sanders closes the Door on Aaron Rodgers and opens the back door for Ryan Tannehill.

 

Don't think this minor difference changes anything, but I think he'll be traded to Dallas when they're on the clock.

 

Vegas has Shedeurs over/under at 21.5 and I'm thinking he slides out of the first completely.

Really? More yards receiving in his first three years than AB, Ward, Burress, Bryant, Sanders, Holmes, ... ah, you get the picture.
