It is hard for me to gauge what will unfold in this upcoming draft,
with so many teams wanting to trade down. Is this draft that bad
that teams in the top ten want to unload there # 1's. Do you think
the Steelers will do some wheeling and dealing?LOL I shouldn't
laugh but I get tired of the Spaeth, Sylvester,Gay type signings.

A month ago I thought not many would want to move down, but now I'm gettin the indication that more teams might want to move up. Unfortunately I think a lot of them pick ahead of us... but with a wealth of talent at DT, there could be a very good one that someone would want to move up the grab...

Another interesting thing to look at is Minnesota and Chicago are both looking for a MLB. I saw something today that said they may fight to move ahead of one another for Arthur Brown (who I think we end up picking) but if I'm wrong we could potentially move down with one of them.

the lower we pick the less it costs. some other teams against the cap may be thinking this way too.

atlanta just cut clabo and have to replace their starting center too. it was said they may have to replace the whole right side. they just became a good partner but thats a long way up for them to get a tackle or hope for one of the guards that will be there later. i don't see alot of partners in 1. maybe they make a move later to move down. we have a 45 spot wait from our 4th to our 5th picks. we have a 36 spot wait from the 3rd to the 4th.

I think teams think moving up before moving back. What I mean is their focus is more on getting the player they want instead of getting extra picks. The only reason a team moves back is because they feel they STILL can get their guy AND gain picks as well.

Having said that we should maybe focus on who'll want to and be able to move up.

San Fran fits that mold. They have cap space and 14 picks with two in the 2nd rd., 2 in the 3rd and 2 in the 4th. No way 14 rookies make the squad. They where just short of another ring and was in the NFC champ game the year before. A couple key picks and they could be dominate for a few years.

I've heard they Love WR Tavon austin and a move up would be required and possible. Pick # 17 could get their man. They could fear the Steelers would draft him due to loosing Wallace and may attempt to move ahead of us instead trade with us.

This draft class may appear bad due to no clear overall #1 or 5 guys capable of being that #2 pick. I think this is a very deep class and the winners will be the club who drafts well between 2nd rd and 5th rd.

the rams are said to want him. they have two in the first and are said to want a safety too. dallas being after us are said to want vaccaro. maybe the rams will want to move ahead of dallas into our spot for him.

The Rams pick before us @ 16 and will probably go WR.....Tavon likely... They also have the 22nd pick and a safety will be there for them. I doubt they move anywhere.

I think this will be a highly entertaining draft, with lots of movement by teams,
I hope the Steelers are involved and getting the men they like. We CANNOT stand pat,
and hope things work out for us, if we have to deal then PULL the TRIGGER to get the people
    you want.
