Gotcha. My initial reading was that you were giving a load of conspiratorial intentions and strategies behind the story that didn't seem to be there. But I see what you're saying now, so cheers for clarifying.

I think the person building the excitement is most likely to be the journalists, tbh...

If he doesn't tackle like a girl, all good fortune and happiness to him.

If it's a girl and she tackles like a guy, sign her up.

I dated a girl in college who decided she would rather be a lesbian. That put a serious dent in my ego.

Gotcha... I didn't think he had officially come out, just had come into public view after the report of the domestic violence situation.

Regardless, I couldn't care less who players choose to snuggle up with at night. :)

isn't supposed to be a current player?
at first i was leaning towards Strahan
his ex talked about his cross dressing or he had strange proclivities
he's now seeing Eddie Murphy's ex and we all know who he would offer rides to.
Tony Gonzalez is just too pretty.:smiley1:
Janikowski is another,we know he loves Rollin Raves

I have stayed out of this, so far, although it has been interesting reading.
I just thought Mojave dessert might be interested to see that it is ALREADY coming to this...
    http://www.ohio.com/news/nation/arizona-bill-ties-restroom-use-to-birth-gender-1.383123
The basic story is about what public bathrooms transgender persons should be allowed to use...:facepalm::facepalm:

Just something I can`t believe we even have to be discussing making laws about...
For the record, I could care less what people choose to do, as long as it doesn`t directly harm others. (for example, whipping out an assault rifle, and wasting a dozen or so of your fellow citizens)...
Other than that, I am pretty easy going. Live and let live, is my motto.
That doesn`t mean I have to agree with other people`s choices. Just their right to make them, as long as it doesn`t threaten my right to make my own.
I just can`t believe some of the things that we are having debates about nowadays.
I`m only 40 yrs old, but this sure feels like a completely different country from the one I grew up in.
On a side note, I read another article in the Beacon, that I don`t feel like looking for, but which brought up a good point, about having "tolerance", for the new "minority"... people who cling to old fashioned values, and beliefs.
It would probably be a bit to "religious" to post here, but the point is, why should they feel like "bigots", or "anti-social", simply for clinging to what they were raised to believe was right?
Not talking about religious fanatics, who firebomb abortion clinics, or protest at soldier`s funerals, just people who personally cling to an older fashioned idea of right and wrong.
They have got to have a hard time seeing the nightly news, or reading the local paper.. LOL

Ok, I'll ask again. What does a gay player coming out have to do with Goodell?

Well I can tell you that I'm one of those old fashioned people and yes some have a hard time with my opinions. But oh well. They've got a right to be wrong. LOL.

If it is a guy in the first round of the draft, it may affect how Goodell hugs him?

40 years is quite a long time for modern societies, to be fair! There have been some pretty dramatic changes economy-wise in the last five years. Advent of internet technology - all in the last ten years (to most people), maybe twenty five years for the specialists. Media coverage has changed amazingly in terms of scope, amount, and interests over the last thirty years at least. Massive shift in a lot of things since 1989, of course.. So in short - I wouldn't be too surprised by the place feeling different.

I think it's either that Brian Baldinger guy( with a name like that somethings up) or that's the reason Porsche and Kordell Stewart split in time for the big announcement. All speculation of course!

Why would a current NFL player hug Goodell at the draft?

SMDH. Did you ever think that the player may benefit from coming out? Regardless, it doesn't have to benefit anyone.

Is has nothing to do with Goodell and since you keep a avoiding the question, I'll assume you agree.
