Did Fittipaldo write it or just say that he was pessimistic about him playing on WFAN? The former would be more concerning because that is presented as actual reporting rather than speculation on a radio show.

I really find your faith in sports journalism to be odd. Steelers will win Sunday by the way.

Your odd little conspiracy theory has been proven false by Pickens' ongoing absence. I hope you are right about them beating the Eagles, but given your track record and that of the teams involved, that seems unlikely.

The Steelers misled the media in 2018 regarding AB’s supposed knee injury, while sports media conveniently went along with the narrative, ignoring evidence of infighting and skipping practice that same week. I’ve outlined this extensively before, with direct evidence showing dishonesty from both the media and team officials. The team claimed AB had a knee issue, sent him for imaging, and the media parroted this without addressing the well-documented reports of in-week conflicts and skipped practices. Labeling my observations with Pickens as a “conspiracy theory” is not only dismissive but also highlights your reliance on media narratives without critical evaluation. It’s 2024, and blind faith in press reports is becoming a thing of the past as more people recognize the deceit and collusion often at play in this industry.

Steelers will beat Philly by the way.

Regarding the situation with Brown, there was evidence of the Steelers being dishonest. There was evidence of the media not being able to prove that the Steelers' story wasn't true, so some of them had to go with the official word. The story with Pickens is quite different.

Your observations regarding Pickens were a conspiracy theory. There was never any evidence of the Steelers taking disciplinary action against Pickens. In hindsight, we know for certain that he missed the game against the Browns due to injury, just as he will miss this week's game. There was no evidence supporting your claim that the media knew about a suspension and went along with a lie by the Steelers in deference to the team, mostly because there was no suspension. The media had it right.

Your claim about me is utter balderdash. I often post things that are critical of the media. Take my response to Dulac's initial claim about Pickens, which I doubted because Dulac has systematically destroyed his credibility in the last few years. I harshly criticize the work of members of the media when I believe they deserve it. I also defend them when I think they deserve it. To imply that I show blind faith in the media is to show that you don't know what you are talking about.

Art Rooney II and company have a standard to uphold. GP broke that standard countless times, and his behavior on the hail mary was the straw that broke the camel’s back (you may remember - the scene where Steelers lose and Pickens is being restrained by NFL security after a fight? Or do you all forget that?). This is how the real world works among champions and successful people - there is a line you don’t cross with them. Have you all forgotten that the Steelers are essentially a family business? Do you have any idea how family businesses are run? George Pickens, like AB before him in 2018, has approached that line and got the talking to by the high ups. Unlike AB, he has chosen to back away from that line - for now. And part of the agreement is that he not play until the playoffs.

Now go on and laugh and obsess over grown men playing a game. Yall just got schooled in the way of truth.

He will not play until the playoffs.

Well if you said it then I believe it, after all you boldy predicted that the Steelers would upset the Eagles. Oh wait that didn't happen but you did say that starting with that Eagle game that the Steelers would win their last 4 games. Oh wait that isn't happening either. I guess maybe just maybe then it could be that you just don't know what the hell you are talking about.

At least you know we are going to laugh at you. You didn't school anyone in anything. That isn't even good fiction.

Most of us have seen how the Steelers operate for a very long time. There is no evidence of them doing something like you suggest in the past or in this instance. It is nothing more than an odd conspiracy theory.

Yes, Pickens was restrained at the end of the game in Cleveland. He was also shoved through the end zone by one of the Browns, so that incident wasn't even entirely his fault. He has one worse and continued to play.

The only thing sillier than your claim that they would sit him for five games and likely give away the division title was your argument that the media would know about the lie and support it just to defer to the Steelers. The media is not some monolithic group of people that all act the same way. Most, if not all, wouldn't give a damn what story the Steelers wanted them to tell.

You also seemed to attach a claim that the Steelers would beat the Eagles to your conspiracy theory, so you already got that part wrong, too.
