Mike Williams will have to step up during Pickens absence. Hopefully he is back for the ravens but it doesn't seem that way.

Gotta feed what you got. And hope Pickens is back sooner then later.

Not a great time to lose both Elliot and Ogunjobi with the possible MVP running the rock.

Yes, we got the childish point the first time. Injuries are team-related news. It is worthy of discussion. If the discussion bothers you, perhaps this isn't the thread for you.

That is definitely going to suck this week, but what matters is getting healthy for the Ravens.

I didn't insult him. I pointed out that a post was childish. Do you need me to explain the difference to you?

Seems to me, you don't want to talk about.
Seems to me, you should turn your pretty head and walk away.

As I have said this is the one game they can afford to lose being an NFC opponent. The ravens already lost to them.

The ravens game is for the division. Of course I would like the 2nd seed as well. So hopefully Wilson brings his 6-0 win record to 7-0 vs the eagles.

This was discussed on the radio, Rowe is a stout tackler and could help against the Eagles great running game.

Exactly. If he is up to playing that much of a role, they can keep Kazee in his current role and go with some three-safety looks. I wonder if we also might see more of Watt, Highsmith, and Herbig on the field together the next couple of weeks. That might also help contain Hurts.

I hope the Steelers are not having to play the Eagles two weeks straight, but knowing how the NFL conspires against them......

It's okay. I didn't need any more confirmation that I was right, but thank you anyway.

if we want to be losers this is an acceptable loss. If we want to win, we have to beat these ELITE teams. No matter what in---> RUSS<--- we trust. and let Fields play I mean--- run--- too

Of course, the Steelers should be playing to win, but I imagine they aren't pushing it with Elliott because this is one they can afford to lose. At least I hope that is the case because they are going to need him against the Ravens.

I don’t mean this offensively, but this kind of “acceptable loss” mentality reflects a losing mindset. Winners don’t entertain the possibility of losing, let alone view it as a strategic option. The notion being discussed here—that the Eagles game is somehow a justifiable or inevitable loss—is disappointing, to say the least. I can assure you the players are not approaching it with this kind of defeatist attitude.

I agree with the it’s OK to lose the game comments but I do agree with playing it safe with injured guys in hopes they are ready for a more important game in Baltimore.

No You are correct a player always plays to win, but higher upside like coaches, owners, and GMS will look at things differently.....examples: look no further than years, and years of teams sitting players right before the playoffs. It happens almost every year.

It's no biggie. We see this every year by teams that almost, or are a shoe in to the playoffs.
