I heard on the Fan this morning that Elliott is out this week and Pickens won't be available until the Bengals game. It will be tough to win one of these next 3 games, we just have to hope the Colts or Dolphins lose one more.

this is why you NEVER count your chickens before they are hatched.

Lot of chicken counting had been going on.....and there was still 1/4 of the season left. the season is never about how you start.......

Crazy how a injury that happened on Friday, and players that play with Him didn't even know He would be out by Sunday, and a coach that said He was just playing it safe because of the reps He would receive, so kept Him out of that game (words said in the Cleveland game at half time) has magically became... may miss the rest of the regular season. Strange He's getting worse, and not better as the days are going on. Your right .....that's common. :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Only one of those games really matter that is left in the regular season. The Ravens

Heard from who? I'm not sure how much I trust that.

I can certainly see them being careful with Elliott. If there is any doubt about his health, he should sit this week.

One of the morning hosts on 93.7 The Fan said that this morning. The topic then became do you hold Pickens out even if he is healthy against the Bengals? Or let him heal even more and bring him back for the playoffs? I think that if he is healthy for the Bengals game then you absolutely play him.

If Pickens misses the next three games, they could easily lose them all. Those were tough matchups with the team healthy, and what we saw of the offense without Pickens against the Browns was not promising. They might need that game against the Bengals just to make the playoffs.

It looks like it was Ray Fittipaldo, which isn't great because he probably isn't pulling that out of thin air. I wouldn't go assuming Pickens is out that long just yet, but it is possible and it really sucks.

It seems we have found some common ground. Win the North and a home playoff game. I doubt any higher goals are within reach with Pickens out.

Yes it was Fittipaldo now that you mention it but I did hear that Elliott did practice today but was limited. Hopefully he can recover in time for Sunday.

I think they will sit Elliott if he isn't 100 percent. They need to be as healthy as possible for the Ravens.

Maybe elevate safety Eric Rowe from the practice squad.

All of the games matter you don't want to limp into the playoffs going 1-3 down the stretch.

It's more important to beat the Ravens, and be healthy than to worry about a NFC team that we won't see unless it's in the SB, or KC that we may see again when it actually matters. Once You get into the playoffs....the regular season means $hit.
Ask the Ravens, or any numerous other teams before. ...home field advantage, and the best record in the league, and they won one freaking playoff game, against a rookie Qb
