Reading on the Ravens message board is that Diontae Johnson is demanding the Ravens release him because of his lack of playing time. The Ravens response was to sit him out of the Eagles game so it sounds like he won't be there very long. What a great trade that was by Kahn, Jackson is among the league leaders in interceptions with 5 for us.

If true and I am a GM I don’t give this guy another chance. Pure toxic.

    Khan made the right move.

I agree, but I would put 500 buck on it right now if we resigned him.....he would contribute automatically.
He is not the 1st Wr to want out from Lamar Jackson.... KC will pick him up

This is maybe one of the reason why the ravens don't want to cut him

This trade didn't make sense to me at all the Ravens have enough decent receivers and didn't need Diontae, also they're a team that likes to run the ball and has two good TEs.

It’s not just the Ravens. He wears out his welcome quicker and quicker with each team.

I don’t see KC making anymore moves and Reid is probably smart enough to see how that would go. His system is notoriously hard to learn and Johnson has shown he has no patience to be brought along slowly.

It's just wild to me that the Steelers have had so many head case receivers. They used to have the most professional receivers on the planet -- like Swann, Stallworth, Lipps, Ward. Then came Bryant, AB, JuJu, Claypool, DJ, Pickens. Are today's receivers all just total divas, or have we been either super unlucky or terrible judges of character?

I think it’s just this generation of players at that position and social media.Sure the Steelers have possibly had more than most teams but these guys are all about flash and stats now. I don’t blame MT as much in this area not sure a different coach could have handled these numbskulls any better.

At least we get success from them for the first three or four years, or in ABs case 9 years. The number of receivers taken late 1st-2nd (20-64) that totally flame out and never have a productive year is astonishing.

If You really watch.....there are a bunch of head case players in the NFL.
Youth, High testosterone, usually all are the Alphas growing up, more money than they have ever had, social media, and all over the TV, and other platforms in the most popular sport in the US = lots of Head cases.

so, i just moved from Baltimore. Lived there all my life, followed the Rats as closely as the Steelers (had too.....)

who / what / where has Harbaugh and their organization put up with this for very long? I don't see Diva WR's there - Hollywood Brown in small amounts but quickly out the door. We are drafting and / or coaching and tolerating WRONG.

This will be labeled at Tomlin hatred, but the recent run in Pittsburgh.....well, if the shoe fits, right? It is not hatred - it is a coaching and leadership failure, IMO.

We now have to START OVER AGAIN in the WR room. Pickens I doubt will be here next year. He is a clown.

I don't see San Fran's WR's and Players acting like this
    Don't see this in NE.
can go down a long list of teams where this does not occur. One offs, but not like what we have seen on the whole.

there are plenty of Head Cases - I agree, but this current organization attracts and fosters more than the average - from what I can see.

What??? Debo has not been playing very much all year because He has felt disrespected, Aiyuk held out all year, and begged to be traded. Yeah no distractions. I watched DJ Moore in Chicago walk off the field during a play, and complained publicly about their Qb play, I watched a Defensive player from Houston cause a fight, and then when brought back with a penalty.....turn around, and start it all over again....untill he was ejected .....I can go on, and on with this for just this year.....from all over the NFL.....The problem with most is.....they don't pay attention to what's going on outside of the Steelers, and therefore think we are the only ones.

we have problems and have for years and I would argue, higher than average numbers.

I could not care less about your one off's , as was stated in my original post - there are many knuckleheads in the league. We have had an unusually high amount. higher than the average - i think that ought to be clear and obvious to you, since to pay attention to what's going on outside of the Steelers.

Ha! Ya...that was a wild take and even a wilder example to use in San Fran. :lolol:

I disagree, Pickens is 100% a bit of a clown, but I don't think they let a talent like that go unless it comes with a big compensation or he just absolutely does something catastrophic the last few weeks.

Bad week to :beathorse: after beating the Bengals and his portrayal on Hard Knocks. :stogie:

It's not....it's what You choose to think. Example: Just like people choose to think Russell Wilson was done.....even though all evidence pointed it wasn't true....., but people hear other people say things, and then those things are repeated by more people, and it starts rolling.....this is how a lot of falsehoods are believed by the public. I guess it's just human nature. Because there is evidence of this happening since recorded time.

I'm not sure they are good at drafting good WR's like year after year they took flashy or speedy or highly touted receivers usually in top rounds and just never did anything with them.
