Where does the AFC North rank in your book?

I've been hearing a lot today on sports radio that the NFC West is now the best division in football. I just personally have a hard time accepting that. Look at how many AFC Championship games the AFC North has been in these past few years. Look at how many Super Bowls the AFC North has been in and WON also! They are saying that since the 9ers have gotten good and the Seahawks are rising that they are now the best division. I honestly think they are the only two worthy competitors in that division. However, with our division, the Bungles seem to be on the rise, the Ravens have been a contender, and we are hopefully the victims of a fluke this past season. So that makes our division have 3 competitive teams vs. their 2 competitive teams. Explain to me again how they are the best division in football? Is this just another flavor of the week? I remember just a short time ago the NFC East was supposedly the toughest. Then it was our division that was the toughest. So what do you guys say?

I think it is, as you say, the "flavor of the month" syndrome. I might be a die hard fan but I am always willing to admit the truth when I see it. NFC West being the best division is not the truth!

 

I am afraid the Bengals will be favored to win
the division as of today. All others have to be
considered 500 teams. Oh well maybe we will
get to see decent exciting football? And get
to build through the draft a competitive team.

 

Until the Steelers prove otherwise they are looking up at the Bengals and Ravens.

 

I think the AFC North is the most competetive in all of the NFL but not the best. Lately our division just knocks the snot out of each other and then falls flat to other teams which then makes them all have to knock the snot out of each other again.
