Hopefully we get a sweep against the Browns and Bengals. If we do, I am fairly certain there is as close to 0% as possible that we miss the playoffs. Washington is going to be a big game, since getting momentum heading into the divisional run will be important. It feels like a game we need if we want to beat Baltimore out for the division.

The Commanders have the 2nd weakest strength of schedule in the league to date.

The Steelers better be ready to defend the deep ball, Daniels likes to throw it deep to McLaurin.

Both ourselves and the Commanders haven't played (or beaten) one of the so called 'superbowl favourites'. Commanders most impressive wins have come over Cardinals, Bengals and Bears perhaps. All three are middling play off hunting teams. Similarly to our best wins.

Therefore I think we'll both find a lot out from this match up. Hopefully with extended rest and preparation we can go into this one all guns blazing. 7-2 with how the AFC play off picture is looking would be like being several games ahead.

Jayden Daniels is the real deal, let's play keep away and control time
of possession and LOS both sides. I like our chances.

I watched the Skins/NYG game yesterday. Was impressed with Daniels. Skins seem to have a franchise guy. I know he has my Eagle friends worried.

I'm thinking this game like the 8 to follow will take more then a few bottles of Tums.

Both teams schedule's get tougher. Skins have us, Eagles and Cowboys coming up. I agree this game will tell both teams a lot.

The Steelers perceived strength is now it's weakness. I'm not worried about the offense.... now with Frazier being back at C. I'm worried about the defense getting gashed in Flacco/Prescott-like manner in the short passing game with Daniels... and the running game with Ekeler. People think this is gonna be low scoring..... NOT! This game will go down to the wire.... upper 30's points for each team.

I will be shock if this is a low scoring game unless both team struggle in the red zone....If one of the 2 teams struggle to score in this game,it will be a 2 score win or more for the winner!

    I don't know maybe Buffalo?

I don't think this is us....The first 3 games of the year for the steelers have all winning record right now

true - we got ATL at the right time, THAT is for sure. DEN too, for that matter, altho BALT obliterated them yesterday. the Dallas game looks worse and worse, each week. that is why Fields was benched, IMO.

The steelers defense are great to force turnovers but the commanders offense have only 3 turnovers after 9 games!

There are trends, and there are streaks. But each week's game has to stand on it's own. Daniels is good and he's on a heater currently. But he has lost. He is beatable.

New England has the weakest schedule to date, which is bizarre since bad teams usually have stronger SoS because of the wins against them. Philly is third weakest. They’re the only teams with an SoS under .400.

This will be a solid test. This team is for real. Secondary best hold up. Like said it might be a shootout type game.

I want to see fast paced down the field scoring drives. Wilson has been fluid in moving the offense.

Yep. Splash plays will only get us so far. Steelers have to get some 3 and outs and score TDs in the red zone against the better teams. The Commanders are one of the so-called, "better NFL teams"........ so it's time to put up or shut up. These Commanders/Redskins are not your father's Commanders/Redskins of the post-Gibbs/Rypien late 90's era until Snyder sold the team 2 years ago. The Commanders are a well coached team on both sides of the ball. Commanders have the potential to lay a beat down, if the Steelers don't show up like the 1st half of the Colts game... and the last drive vs. Cowboys.

Wonder in Brian Robinson, Jr will be out again next week. They have division games after the Steelers. May be smart to sit him another week. Ekeler did OK for them this week.
