Yeah I would take Fields over Trubisky any freaking day. At least I actually like Fields.

I agree. He is a awesome backup right now, and with work .....maybe a future starter.

My god Trubisky was bad with us!

Only QB with 2 starts or more with a losing record with us in the Tomlin era!

Such an odd movie but I loved it. Napoleon was funny on David Letterman's Top Ten list. It's on YouTube of course.

Still a long way to go this season before looking into the future, but I hope he sees and gets good advice from his agent. I do not think there will be a mad dash to get his services come FA time, but both the Steelers and he should think about signing. If Russ continues to play well then he will want to get paid, and again the team should make an offer, not something stupid, but its going to cost something. For Fields finding a solid place to land, grow and perfect your craft in a pace you are respected by both your team can be very important. We have recently seen guys who were labeled as busts get a 2nd and even 3rd chance when given the opportunity. he is still young, have no idea if he can be a true franchise guy, but he can be and is a valuable back up. When teams sign guys to huge contracts (especially multiple players) we have seen what happens when the QB goes down and the b/u is horrible. I have no delusions of what he is, I have no idea if his ceiling is high, but he is worth trying to keep around if he is willing.
