Pitt/SMU #19 vs #22. Gonna be yet another night game. That is 4 straight night games for Pittsburgh football fans.

I only predicted a trifecta. Hope I didn't screw them.

Not always. The Georgia Florida game is always in Florida just not at UF. They call it a neutral site, but it’s 90 miles from UF and 300 from UGA

Do you know that ND probably has more 4 and 5 star players on their roster than Navy probably
had in the last 30 years. Talent is real and when you have rosters
full of talent., heart only goes so far.

Pitt should handle SMU easy. SMU has faced one ranked team, and got beat, and they barely beat Duke. LoL

The talent isn’t the only difference. There are height and weight maximums as well. After they graduate they’ve got to be able to fit in the berths on ships etc. David Robinson got around that by growing significantly after joining the Naval Academy. Academics also come into play.

I can still remember an old coach pounding into my head, penalties and turnovers will lose you games way more often than talent.

I coached youth for 8 years as OL coach. I pounded that same directive into my guys heads every practice also.

Navy lost to a more talented ND team, true. But I blame the 6 turnovers (5 fumbles and 1Int) more than Navy just being out classed.

At the end of the Navy/Memphis game, with less than a minute and a half to play, Memphis was in the red zone playing for the go ahead score and likely the win. Navy gets a pick 6 to seal the victory. They maybe deserved to lose that game as well, but that last turnover won the game for them and very possibly cost Memphis a place in line for the G5 playoff spot.

    But that was then.

But because of traffic it takes both fans the same amount of time to drive to the game. Lol!

It's called the biggest cocktail party in college football. I've been to it a few times with no dog in the fight. Very fun.
Always in Jacksonville, but I've always thought it should be in Atlanta 1 year and Jacksonville the next.
