Post Game Loss Complaint Thread

This loss is on Tomlin and Austin and Smith. Smith because we suffered yet again another lack luster first half. Austin for not moving TJ around and calling off the dogs on the pass rush and finally Tomlin for not having the team prepared.

 

Yup. It is a copycat league. Expect to see more of the same until changes are made especially on the defensive side of the ball. TJ will be the invisible man, Queen will look lost, P. Wilson will continue to get beat in coverage, and Herbig will see a lot of runs to his side of the field.

 

It wasn't really that much of an upset honestly. We were, what?, 1.5 point favorites on the road. This narrative we have of losing to "inferior" teams is getting played out. Maybe just maybe the Steelers are the average team their recent records say that they are.

 

tomlin ruining smith too. telling him to handcuff this offense. run every first down, throw behind the LOS on 2nd down and make Fields create magic on third. colts had 11 in the box all day long!

I understand you could throw a flag for holding on just about every play, but when its that blatant, come on.

 

couldn't say it any better myself. However I think most WRs in todays game are selfish morons. Just look around the league... No Hines Wards or Larry Fitz's anymore.

 

If Richardson doesn't get hurt, or we don't turnover the ball. I said all week if We don't turnover the ball we win. We lost by 3, and turned the ball over 3 times. You can win a bunch of game just not turning the ball over.

 

Come on you know as well as I do the Steelers are going 10-7 getting beat by 30 in the WC game and drafting 22nd.

We went for it on 4th down, and didn't get it....that's same as a turnover.

Actually it's is called a turnover on downs. Yes it was a stupid call. Funny thing is as someone who supports Tomlin....I hate Him going for it on 4th down....unless You must to win the game at the end, but most Tomlin haters....love going for it on 4th down.
I watch teams do this stupid $hit all the time, and then lose by the call.
Just think. They got a easy 3 from that from us, and what did we lose by???

 

The Ravens lost at home to the Raiders, I guess that was a John Harbaugh Special .

In Miami, McDaniels has poor clock management and there was a bad snap just now. I thought those things only happened to Tomlin coached teams?

The Steelers need to forward these clips to the league office weekly.

 

Actually, if we see more of the same this next game will be at least 2 holding calls in the first quarter and Watt manages to get some plays against Dak. It's a guarantee that the league will see these "missed" calls and remedy it by throwing a bone early in a marquee match-up. (Especially if Parsons is out)

 

They brought up a stat on the Steel Curtain network dating back to Cowher days that the Steelers always lose in week 4 if they're undefeated. Only 4th game wins were the on weird early Bye year and the other wonky schedule year.

Haven't gone back and verified it though.
