Just what the O-line needed, another guy out for the season. They seem to be cursed

 

For as lucky as we were last year on the offensive line with lack of injuries it has come back ten fold this year to bite us.Time for the young buck to step up.

Well the silver lining is we actually may be able to resign him for cheap next year now. He is gong to end up dong a one year prove it deal so if he didn’t[’t start here I double he would resign though.

 

He might resign it might be his only option and the Steelers will know his recovery better than anyone else

I will say again. Pat Meyer needs to step up. Other coaches have done more with less.

As much as it sucks, luck plays a large part in how far a team goes. This doesn’t look to be the Steelers’ year. The team had a lot of question marks coming in and they have even more now.

McCorrmick time

 

This is just brutal. If they are lucky, they will have McCormick starting opposite Seumalu this week, but that's far from a sure thing. I'm not sure how any line is supposed to live up to expectations with all those injuries, but it is happening all over the league. The Rams lost three starters up front before the season started. The Browns are down to one healthy starter. The Chargers played without both starting tackles yesterday. The Colts were missing their starting center.

 

We already know what Pat Meyer's coaching ability is...decidely poor.

He takes parts and make them and the group lesser than their abilities.

That said, only a few OL coaches are going to be able to take rookies and 7th rounders an make them NFL competent in the short term.

If there isn't some improvement the next couple of weeks vthen any doubt (shouldn't be any) of Meyer being fired is erased. I know they'll struggle next week, but we should see some improvements week by week.

 

I don't see that happening they drafted McCormick to start at guard next year.

 

The football gods hates us.

 

And the hits just keep on coming. JD was a steadying influence on the o-line. Hope Seamalu can go against Dallas.
