One thing bothered me about that game. I watched an interview with Ben before the season started and he was asked to describe his perfect season. He said to take a knee on he last play of the Super Bowl, turn around and hand the ball to Bettis and say "This is for you". Bettis wasn't even on he field for the kneel down.

Man, we had some players on that D-line.....A.smith,Hamp,Keisel,Kirtskie(sp),Hoke,Kemo...and the used a heavy rotation...
Funny you can tell how stacked your team is by the special teams players and their play. On a couple of those plays the guys making the tackles were Harrison and Keisel..
Now it's guys like Mundy and Gilreath...

I'm kind of the same way. I love that we won the SB, but I've never had much interest in watching that game again. The win was enjoyable, but apart from the win, the play itself wasn't all that satisfying.

With all the complaints against us about the officiating, what still makes me livid to this day is the no-call on Ben getting blatantly clipped at the 40-yard line (1:21:31) on the interception return that led to Seattle's only touchdown. Had that call been made, Seattle would have started the ensuing drive on their own 45-yard line instead of our 20-yard line and I'm convinced they would have never found the end zone that day.

I still can't get the people and fans of other teams that say this game was handed to the Steelers. Listen the Refs didn't give the Steelers the 75 yard touchdown to Willie Parker and the refs didn't give the Steelers the touchdown on the trick play when Randle EL threw to Hines. The Seahawks gave that up.

But, Ben played horrible in this game. Man it was just awful.

Seattle fans still complain about the refs and the Steelers getting all the calls like that's the reason they lost. They didn't make any big plays on offense and their defense got burned on two big plays by the Steelers. The better team won that's all.
