Donte Jackson had twice as much interception return yards than Johnson had receiving yards for the Panthers on Sunday.

Yes it would be. Once Sutton gets back at the slot position, we might have an S.T.D approved room full of corners lol

told ya. Elliott is an upgrade too. We got a nice d backfield. I have said this since the pickups of these guys. Everyone is saying we didn't add any vets. What? Nice mix of youth and vets I believe. we have a good D.

i live here in NC (recent move), locals told me he was their best player in the secondary. Add him to Minkak and Porter + Elliott and I have high expectations for him

part of why I was all in favor of that trade.

    We NEEDED DB help!!!

I don't remember anybody saying the Steelers didn't add any veteran help in the secondary. There is a concern that they didn't add one as their slot corner, but they clearly added veterans.

    I mean...

It helps quite a bit that, until Jaycee Horn was drafted that Donte was literally responsible for nearly the entire secondary in Carolina. I state nearly because Jeremy Chinn was a lot better than people gave him credit for. Regardless, Jaycee Horn has been bit by the injury bug and Carolina had no one else during Donte's final two seasons at Carolina; Donte literally covering just about everyone else... and I mean everyone else.

Now in Pittsburgh?! He doesn't have to worry about that anymore. He's working with an All Pro FS in Minkah, a budding superstar CB in Joey Porter Jr and a great Front Seven. All Donte Jackson has to do is simply perform his one role and, to his credit, he did. Even better?!

His upcoming game against Denver isn't going to be nearly as exhausting for Denver doesn't possess the same level of firepower that Atlanta does. Donte Jackson could be in for another great game.

I’m doubting Sutton will even play much

    Out 8 weeks

    Then I believe a 2 week exemption

Then he is way behind everyone else

well, not with cats falling like flies. which is normal in NFL secondaries

SUTTON will have fresh legs and body. he will get plenty of reps in the nickle and dime packages, I would think.
