Its been heartbreaking the way we lost some of these last games! Bullpen back to its true identity. Blowing leads.

Chapman did his part in an amazing fashion - freezing Machada on a 104 mph missile. Unfortunately every other Bucco pitcher sucked last night, especially the "closer". Holderman is a lost cause. Never saw a game where the opposition made so many attempts to gift wrap a W for the Pirates. Shameful. All the Bucs need to do to see how winning teams do it is to watch tapes of the AZ and SD games the past week or so.

 

Machado just made up for it with a 2 run shot in 1st inning. This isn't going to end well and I think the Phillies smoked the Dodgers 2 of 3 so they are resting up to add to our woes

 

4-0 now Padres. If Padres make Playoffs I hope they shock some teams.

As Jim Morrison once said, "This is the End". Upcoming West Coast trip will put an end to all this silliness. TBH the season was much better then I expected. The pitching staff had me pumped for awhile. Probably only watch when Skene pitches on the East Coast. If we really were in the hunt I'd be staying up for those West Coast games.
