BUSINESS UPDATE

Update time! Me and the wife made it through another month in the cleaning business. Gained a few new residential jobs, apartments not taking off like i thought it would.
Went to a realtor meeting last Tuesday, they said they loved me, lol. We got put on their vendor list. They are needing vacation rentals and new house clean ups. Plus already got a job power washing a house, which i did Monday!
Its been 6 months, making enough to live on. My business accountant said my books look good. We will keep praying that more work comes our way! Thats all for now!

 

Keep your eyes and ears open for new opportunities and expansion of your services. Eventually look into merging with/taking over the competition. I know a lot of successful business folks who played Monopoly with their competition and just kept on expanding by absorbing competition and gaining new clientele. Don't ask me exactly how that's formally done and financed (need an Esq behind your name for that) but I've seen it done many times over. Shaving the boss in the morning never gets old.

Just signed a contract for cleaning clubhouse in a housing community tonight!

A lot of work my friend trying to secure contracts! You never know if your bid is going to be too high, a lot of things to think about.
We are trying to hire good people to help, which at this point in time is difficult. Trying to take some of this workload off my wife.

 

I promise..... I hope, and pray it works out. I said I had a buddy that does it in Ft. Smith, and has done very Well for himself. He said the biggest problem once He got going was hiring people He could trust.

Update time! End of February, a very good month, probably the best month since we started.
We picked up a couple of realty companies, they are keeping us busy and the money is way better than residential cleaning!
My wife now has the undaunted task of getting rid of some residential cleaning so we can keep up with realty companies and also apartments. I know it would be considerate to give everyone 2 weeks notice, but it is kind of difficult. Any advice would be appreciated.
With the grace of the Lord, hopefully we can keep picking up more work. Really starting to think we need to find a couple of contractors to help us out. Im old and I’m not going to lie, cleaning is some hard work. Thanks for listening and as always we will leave the light on

Yes sir! We landed 6 so far! They are good money

 

Do they have you check for hidden cams?

 

They all have certain rooms with cameras....motels, and hotels do also.

 

That's why I am an exhibitionist.
Roughly 300+ days a year at such places. I put on a show before the show!!!!

Very little advertising. Word of mouth. Physically knocking on doors. Im finding hiring people to be very difficult. Most want to work part time, which is fine, but their idea of part time is 2 hrs a day?!

I would think trust would be the most difficult thing
