He started as RT in high school, which I know mean absolutely nothing but just a minor footnote.

Not even close. As Dan Moore said trying to switch to RT is like wiping your ass with your left hand.

The way a DE tries to get around you on the outside, doesn't matter if your QB is right or left handed.

In all seriousness though, I don't see the long term benefit of starting Moore, who is in his final year and likely isn't getting a 2nd contract from us.

I prefer Jones' size at LT but Fautanu is a beast with long arms.

I would love to see Pittsburgh move up and take Roman Wilson.

I think Mccaffrey will be there for them late in the 3rd if Wilson is gone.

Remember that RaShawn Slater is roughly the same height but lighter than Fautanu (305 vs 315lbs.). Slater has been one of the best Left Tackles in all of Football since his Rookie Season. Fautanu may not be that but for him to be a rock solid starter out of the gate isn't far fetched.


Here is something else to consider.

 

There are still a lot of quality WR's left. Roman Wilson, the 6'7" Johnny Wilson, Luke McCaffrey, Brenden Rice, Tez Walker are just a few.

 

Right! Totally forgot Luke is out there too.

 

Question:

If the Steelers were to trade 84 for Cortland Sutton, would you like the trade?

Sutton is probably better than any WR that is going to be left. Fairly average, but consistent.

I'm not advocating this. Just wondering what the consensus is.
